Of all the weird things Meghan and Josh found on the internet, it's safe to say they're each other's favorite! They had their first date at Mehfil and Antidote in downtown Asheville, where Josh wooed Meghan with his in-depth knowledge of building code. From having Hallmark-worthy careers to actually filming a Hallmark movie, they were quickly inseparable. Josh taught Meghan the rules of football, and Meghan taught Josh how to answer every question with "That's a cultural construct." In other words-- they were perfect for one another.
It started with Meghan frantically cleaning their apartment and Josh arriving home from work late, behaving totally weird. At one point (while she was cleaning the bathroom), Josh told Meghan they were going to play a game that started with Meghan staying in the bathroom for five minutes. Meghan took the chance to check out some books from the library and heard the pop of a cork. It's really incredible that she didn't know something was going on until Josh told her he needed help in the living room. Meghan went to go help him only to find him down on one knee, roses in hand, the ring set on a piece of cake from Meghan's favorite bakery on the table next to him. Of course, Meghan said yes (there was cake, after all)... only shortly before squeaking, "I'm not dressed for this!" The whole proposal was witnessed by Abbey and Reese, who seemed excited but put out they did not also get cake. Record of the event exists in a video that will only ever be shared with close friends and family because Meghan /really/ was not dressed for this... but she's incredibly glad he didn't wait a second longer!
