Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail Attire! The ceremony space is outdoors and only accessible by stairs, so wear shoes you will be comfortable in! The cocktail hour will also take place outdoors, & the reception will be indoors.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Of course, we can’t promise anything, but we hope for a warm and sunny day (hint hint, wear your sunscreen!). Be prepared to be outside during the ceremony and cocktail hour.

How can I get to the venue?

Answer

We recommend riding the free Laguna Beach Trolley if you can! Just note, it stops running at 11:30 PM, so if you plan to stay 'til the end, you'll need to plan to get home a different way! Driving or taking an Uber/Lyft are great options too.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Plan to arrive 15-20 minutes prior to the ceremony starting to snag your seat! Make sure to give yourself some extra time to park & get up to the terrace! Please also note there is no bathroom once you get up to the ceremony location (Catalina Terrace). Be sure to go before you get up there!

Will I need to travel between the ceremony and reception locations?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place at the Surf & Sand, but they will be in different locations at the resort!

What is parking like?

Answer

Street parking in Laguna can be difficult, but if you are lucky enough to find a spot, be sure to check rules for permits and payment. Parking is also available at the Surf & Sand Resort for $8/day.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love kids, but they will not be allowed at the wedding! Thank you for understanding & we hope you enjoy your kid-free night!

Is the hotel pet friendly?

Answer

If you are staying at the hotel, your dog is welcome to stay in the room!

What food & drink will be available?

Answer

*Water will be available during the ceremony *An open bar & Hors d'oeuvres will be available during the cocktail hour *A wine service will be provided during dinner *The bar will re-open & dessert will be available after the dinner
