Ben & Stephanie first met at Big Time Brewery after matching on Bumble. Ben had recently moved to Seattle to work for Microsoft, & Stephanie was going to school at the University of Washington for graduate school. Fun fact - Ben actually cancelled the first date TWICE on Stephanie. Lucky for him, she gave him a third shot!

After being cooped up in their small apartment during COVID, Ben was really wanting more outside space! They got bamboozled into house hunting after coming across a beautiful home that was priced well below its value. Once they starting searching, they couldn't stop! 6 offers later, they stumbled across an open house and decided to put an offer in! One month later, they moved in!

Ben & Stephanie had been talking about wanting a dog for years! One day, Stephanie's coworker brought in her sweet, 9-week old, golden retriever, Sammy! Stephanie played with Sammy for almost an hour and got no work done! She sent Ben pictures of Sammy and told him they absolutely NEEDED to get a sibling and there were still a few puppies left in the litter! That evening, Ben & Stephanie FaceTimed the breeder and Lucy, and a few days later they brought sweet Lucy home!

Golden Gardens is one of the few places in Seattle that can rival a Laguna sunset. Ben's goal was to have Stephanie be able to admire her ring against a gorgeous, beach sunset. He worked with a planner to set up a spot at the beach with a trellis of her favorite flowers that they would just happen to stumble upon. The day of called for rain, so there was little mystery as to why Ben was so insistent on going to the beach!
