Our venue is nestled in one of Charlotte’s most beloved neighborhoods (and our favorite!), Plaza Midwood. It’s walkable, full of character, and home to some of our favorite spots. Whether you’re looking for a good cup of coffee, a funky boutique, a chill patio, or a strong cocktail, this area has it all. Honorary mentions: Legion Brewing – where we had our first date :) great beer (try Juicy Jay if you like IPAs), even better memories. Note: there is also a SouthPark and Wesley Heights location! Undercurrent Coffee – A crowd favorite coffee shop The Giddy Goat – Nothing beats a giddy goat latte and empanada for breakfast Workman’s Friend – Cozy Irish pub vibes with an awesome brunch and DELICIOUS espresso martinis!! Also, a great place to watch the Masters. Common Market – A funky, casual spot for a sandwich, a drink, and top-tier people watching. Note: there is also a SouthEnd and Oakhurst location! If you're in the mood for a little movement (or just want to hop between breweries), South End’s got you covered. The Rail Trail is a walkable path that runs alongside the light rail, connecting tons of local spots (breweries, coffee shops, restaurants, and murals galore). Honorable mentions: Jeni’s Ice Cream – Worth the line every time Flower Child – Light, fresh lunch if you’re in detox mode Suffolk Punch – More towards the end of the rail trail (depending where you start), great spot to wrap up with a beer! Atherton Mill – Renovated industrial space with local boutiques, your favorite retailer shops, coffee shops (Not Just Coffee, delicious!), restaurants and more. Barry's Bootcamp can be found here if you're looking for a fun sweat sesh.
One of our favorite spots for casual eats, coffee, drinks, and local vendors, all under one roof (with some great outdoor seating, too). It's the perfect place for groups or indecisive snackers. The Dumpling Lady, Harriet's Hamburgers, and Noble Smoke are some of our favs!
For panoramic views and elevated drinks (literally), Uptown rooftops are where it’s at. The iconic Merchant and Trade rooftop is a go-to, but can't recommend rooftops without mentioning Fahrenheit and Nuvole as well!
