We suggest booking a villa or private home through Kiawah Island Resort. Hotel prices have gone up for the weekend because of multiple events held on the property and the villas and private homes are much more affordable and provide a range of options. They also have access to resort transportation and amenities. If you do want to book The Sanctuary, we suggest calling the hotel directly and providing the discount code to get the best rates. Charleston International Airport is roughly 45 minutes - 1 hour from Kiawah Island. We recommend renting cars or sharing Ubers to the island from the airport.
