DRO, DIA, ABQ

Durango is a semi-remote mountain town in the southwest corner of Colorado. There is a small airport (DRO) in town that usually has connections through Denver or Phoenix. Another option would be to fly into Denver (DIA) and drive 6 hours or fly into Albuquerque (ABQ) and drive 3.5 hrs.

Located about 10 minutes up the highway from our venue is lodging at Purgatory Ski Resort. There are many types of rooms and units to accommodate a range of budgets. The resort also has non-winter activities for visitors like hiking, mountain biking, alpine slide, mountain coaster, and scenic chairlift rides.

Travel Note

Transportation

We will not be providing transportation to or from any events. You will need a car or carpool option as there are likely no taxis or ride-share options available. Tamarron Resort at Glacier Club offers the most convenience in terms of proximity to our wedding events. The rehearsal dinner will be the only event in town and not at the Glacier Club. Other lodging options would be Purgatory, an Airbnb, or one of the many hotels in downtown Durango.
