Question

Is the wedding outside?

Answer

Yes, as the sun will be shining, both the ceremony & reception will be outside next to the beach.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We can’t wait to see our beloved family and friends looking their absolute best on our big day! As many of you know, the bride is a bit of a fashion enthusiast, so we’re excited to see everyone dressed to impress. The dress code is beach formal attire: For the ladies: Floor-length, tea-length, or midi formal dresses are perfect choices. Flowing fabrics and elegant silhouettes are highly encouraged! We kindly ask you to save pink for the bridesmaids, and let the bride shine in white and save that shade just for her. For the gentlemen: Linen suits paired with a tie will strike the perfect balance between dapper and beach-appropriate. For some style inspiration, feel free to check out our Guest Attire Inspo page.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

As much as we love your little ones, our wedding is exclusively for adults, with the exception of immediate family and part of our wedding party.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If you received a plus one, your guest's name is listed on your invitation and will appear under your name when you RSVP. Otherwise, we would love to keep the weeding as an intimate event with close friends and family. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

Are there any other exciting events taking place around the wedding date?

Answer

Aside from the wedding weekend events, the Carnaval de Barranquilla, the largest cultural fiesta in Colombia, will take place from February 14 to 17 in the bride's hometown.

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving at least two days (Saturday) before the wedding to settle in and enjoy the wedding weekend events.

Question

What's the best airport to use?

Answer

We recommend the Ernesto Cortissoz International Airport, the airport of Barranquilla, Colombia. It is the main airport serving the city and the Caribbean region of the country.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We are reserving a block of rooms at the Hilton Santa Marta. Shortly, we will provide guests with a special code to access a reduced rate, along with additional details. A deadline for booking will also be announced at that time. If you miss this deadline, please contact the hotel directly to inquire about availability. All travel details will be posted under the 'Travel' tab.

Question

Do I need a passport or visa?

Answer

For travel to Colombia, please ensure that your passport is valid and up-to-date, with at least six months' validity beyond your planned departure date. Although a visa is not required, you will need to complete the 'CheckMig' form, which must be submitted between 72 hours and one hour before your flight. You can access the form using this URL: https://apps.migracioncolombia.gov.co/pre-registro If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact the couple.
