Golf & Pickleball

Palm Springs is a paradise for golf and pickleball lovers! The greater Palm Springs area is home to over 100 golf courses. For pickleball, head to Ruth Hardy Park for open play, or reserve the courts at Kimpton Rowan Palm Springs Hotel, a 10-minute walk from the Thompson.

Note that, where possible, you’ll want to book a reservation in advance: Workshop - farm to table menu, very cool modern restaurant Bar Cecil - great cocktail bar! Will need a reservation in advance Sherman's Deli & Bakery - classic NYC-style deli Cheeky’s - known for their bacon flight, great breakfast/brunch spot Birba - great pizza (& pasta)! Almost all outdoor seating Norma’s - breakfast/brunch restaurant in The Parker looking out at the grounds Melvyn’s - classic steakhouse with jazz music (known for the Rat Pack visits) Farm - another great brunch/breakfast spot (they also serve dinner) The Heyday - best smash burgers in town
