Hotel Petaluma, Tapestry Collection by Hilton

We're happy to have secured a room block at Hotel Petaluma, right in the heart of downtown Petaluma. We highly recommend staying here as it's in walking distance to the welcome dinner and the wedding shuttle will pick up here. If you don't stay at Hotel Petaluma we recommend staying within walking distance. The Metro Hotel, Hampton Inn Petaluma, and several Airbnbs/VRBOs are nearby. Additionally, outside of town there are many other options ranging from lower budgets to luxury hotels. The Sheraton Sonoma Wine Country is just outside of downtown Petaluma and would be an easy Uber to the shuttle stops.

Flight

Bay area airports

SFO Flying to San Francisco will give you the most flight, rental car, and shuttle options. It's about an hour drive from SFO to Petaluma. Direct shuttles can be found here: https://groometransportation.com/sonoma-county/sfo-oak STS The Sonoma County (Santa Rosa) airport is the closest to Petaluma but likely has the least availability. It's about 25 minutes from Petaluma and Ubers/Taxis should be available. OAK Oakland is also about an hour from Petaluma but may have less options. Shuttles can be found here: https://groometransportation.com/sonoma-county/sfo-oak/ SMF Sacramento is about 90 minutes from Petaluma by car. A rental car would likely be required as there aren't shuttles. This could be a good option if it happens to have cheaper flights or if you're extending the trip and visiting Lake Tahoe or Yosemite.
