This hotel is closest to Lake Michigan and if you book soon enough you can get one of the incredible views of the water! It is also steps away from the sand dunes, pool, and Café Manitou- a restaurant right on the water!

PRICE: $$$ DESCRIPTION: Perfect for big families! Rooms include Kings +twins +sofa beds. Access to one of the three pools on the property. This pool overlooks Lake Michigan for an incredible view. Fancy log cabin feel.

Flight
Traverse City Airport
This is the nearest airport to the resort (about 45min drive). Once you are on The Homestead property you will not need a car as there is a shuttle that takes you to all of the pools/beaches/food/the ceremony/reception site and there is a little grocery store on site (with wine). To get from the airport to The Homestead we recommend using Lyft/Uber or renting a car.
Flight
Gerald R. Ford Airport in Grand Rapids
Flying into Grand Rapids can often times be cheaper than flying into Traverse City, however, there is a 3 hour drive up to The Homestead from there. If you're considering this, talk to Tess and Clay or their mothers about carpooling with others headed up to the celebration. Otherwise you will need to rent a car or use uber/lyft.
