Question
Are kids invited?
Answer
Yes, and we are delighted to have them! We will have a sitter and a room set aside for those children that need to sleep before the night is over. Please let us know if your children are coming and if they have particular needs so that we can get them the appropriate care.

What's the dress code?
Answer
The dress code is garden / cocktail / casual (which is a lot of slashes!) For parts of the weekend, we are hoping to play lawn games and go on walks, but we still want to look pretty during the ceremony and reception! Essentially, button-down shirts and khakis are appropriate, as are sun dresses and cocktail dresses. Jeans and sneakers are also appropriate during lawn games and walks. We recommend bringing fairly comfortable shoes that are ok on grass. We will have a room for extra clothes and shoes if you want to change between brunch and the ceremony on Saturday and you're staying far away.

How do I get to the venue from the airport?
Answer
Unfortunately, transportation is not provided from the airport to the venue. From Indianapolis, we recommend renting a car. From Champaign, you can take an Uber, Lyft, or taxi, or rent a car. Some hotels may provide free shuttle service from the Champaign airport.
Question
Do you really want me to show up on Friday night for dinner and hang out with you the whole weekend?
Answer
Yes! While we of course understand if you can't make it to all of our events or need a nap in the middle, we would love to see you for as long as possible! Our goal is for everyone to be able to casually hang out for the whole weekend so that people are able to see old friends and family and also have time to make new friends and meet new family!

Will there be shuttles available?
Answer
We plan to have shuttles between Allerton and the Best Western Monticello, but we don't plan on having shuttles back to Urbana or Champaign. If a sufficient number of people stay in Urbana or Champaign, this may change - let us know if you have a big group staying outside of Monticello. Otherwise Lyft and Uber do operate in this area.
