We've come a long way since 7th-grade drama class. When we sat down to write our story, we realized we had very different perspectives on how it all went down, sooo we wanted to give you both versions. Follow this link to read both the Jack and the Tess edition of our story. (and beware, it's kind of a book, so grab a cup of coffee and block off a solid 40 minutes). https://tessaandjack2020.wordpress.com/2020/03/14/our-story/
Dear friends and family, We hope you are all doing well and staying safe during these uncertain times. It has been crazy! Hasn’t it? I think we’ve all learned a lot about ourselves. How we deal with change, how little we have control over, and where our trust really lies. Tess and I have learned a lot about ourselves as individuals and even more-so as a couple. We hope you are finding lessons and gratitude in the midst of it as well. The COVID-19 epidemic has forced us to make some incredibly difficult decisions. Decisions around postponing the wedding, what to do now that our Costa Rica plans were cancelled, and how to find a place to live last minute. A lot has changed, and we’ve been searching for wisdom with open hands for what God wants for us during this time. That being said, we have decided to postpone the wedding until August 9th, 2020. We want every one of you to be able to be there, safely, so we can all celebrate together! We hope that by postponing, you won't have to choose between your health and supporting us on our day. We really envision celebrating with all of you who are so dear to us, and we wouldn’t want to miss out on being with you on this special day. We don’t know what this situation is going to be like in a month, so in accordance with current CDC guidelines, we believe postponing is the best possible decision. Tess and I will still be getting married on May 17th with a small ceremony in the backyard with immediate family and the wedding party. We are really looking forward to getting to have two weddings, a small and intimate one AND a big celebration with everyone we love. We hope to see you at Southall Meadows on August 9th! Please RSVP or update your current RSVP for this new date by June 25th. We really appreciate all the messages of love and support we have received. We’re so thankful for every one of you, and look forward to celebrating together on August 9th!
