Our Story
Bennett and Tessa met on New Year’s Eve 2020 at River Mountain. Although they’ll soon be getting married in that very same place, it wasn’t exactly the smoothest first impression (at least on Tessa’s part). On the drive there, her car broke down in the middle of nowhere thanks to a failed alternator. A few hours, one tow truck, and a very delayed arrival later, she finally made it—only to be greeted by Bennett’s sarcastic humor about her less-than-glamorous entrance.
They spent the rest of the weekend side by side. And when Tessa’s car needed a few more days at the mechanic, Bennett drove her back to Baltimore.
Who knew a broken alternator and one sarcastic joke would bring them right back here? This time, they’re trading in the broken alternator for the altar—no tow trucks required. Just a weekend surrounded by their favorite people as Bennett and Tessa say “I do.”
