Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

We will have a welcome dinner on Friday evening. RIVER MOUNTAIN GUESTS: If you are staying Friday night, breakfast and lunch will be provided on Saturday. For guests staying Saturday night, we will have a farewell breakfast on Sunday. Please refer to the schedule page for more details.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The attire is semi-formal. Keep in mind the ceremony will be outdoors (weather permitting). Women- Formal or cocktail dresses. Stiletto heels not recommended. Men- Suit, or a button down with a sport coat. Michigan football jerseys also permitted.

Due to the limited space and accommodations, please refer to your invitation for the specific attendees listed.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

No, this will be an adult-only ceremony and reception.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

We encourage everyone to stay at River Mountain with us! That said, we understand if you prefer to stay at a more traditional hotel. Planned transportation will not be provided, and note that Uber/Lyft may be limited due to the location. Please reach out if you have questions or need assistance with transportation!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please be sure to inform Bennett and Tessa about any dietary restrictions. River Mountain will accommodate meals accordingly.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00pm. Please arrive beforehand to allow time to find a seat.
