Perfect wedbsite to start looking at things to do in Seattle. Has a breakdown of areas and different attractions. There is a discount book for if you want to go see several of the main tourist places in Seattle. I have been told that, even though they say it's nontransferable, there is no name on the tickets so if people want to go to different things, you might want to split it with other people.
If you are planning on going you may want to get your tickets ahead of time online. Also, depending on what other attractions you want to do while in town, there are bundle packs to save a little bit of money. One of the weird things about the space needle is how it sits in the skyline, if you are coming into Seattle from the south, it almost blends into the skyline, but if you are coming into town from the north, it really stands out and that is where the iconic skyline pictures must all be taken from.
If you are only planning on spending money to go and see one thing, I (Nicole) would say to go here. It has a little bit of everything. "MOPOP" used to be named EMP but they changed the name a couple of years ago. Truly unique museum.
You can go to the original Starbucks Location. The line is always huge even though there are about 225 other Starbucks coffee shops in Seattle alone!
It's a huge open market area. This is where the iconic fish tossing takes place and has a little bit of everything. Wear comfortable shoes!
Hands on museum that you could spend days in. Has an IMAX theater, Butterfly exhibit, laser shows, the list goes on!
One of my (Nicole) favorite bookstores! Always has events ging on and authors coming in. The authors always sign extra copies so even if you don't catch your author you might just find an autographed copy on the shelves (same price as non signed).
