Although we love your children, we have decided to make our wedding ceremony and reception adults only events.
Guests will be responsible for transportation to and from the wedding ceremony at St. Paul Catholic Church. For the cocktail hour and reception, there will be a private shuttle for guests provided by TL Worldwide Transportation. This shuttle service will run from the Hilton Garden Inn Akron-Canton to Gervasi Vineyard at the following times: 4:00pm, 4:40pm, 4:50pm, and 5:20pm. The shuttle can hold 25 passengers per trip. There will also be a shuttle service at the end of the reception from Gervasi Vineyard to the Hilton Garden Inn Akron-Canton. Shuttles will pick up guests at Gervasi to return to the hotel at the following times: 10:10pm, 10:50pm, 11:30pm, 12:10am, and 12:50am. The shuttle can hold 25 passengers per trip.
Since we will have professional photographers present, we ask that you use the time during our ceremony to unplug, put away all phones and cameras, and enjoy the moment with us. During the reception, we encourage guests to take pictures.
Cocktail and semi-formal attire. The wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all take place indoors.
Yes, both venues are handicap accessible. For the ceremony at St. Paul Catholic Church, there is an elevator located at the back entrance of the church.
The ceremony: Behind the Church, on the corner of Harmon and Cole Streets, is a large lot with handicapped parking. Between Harmon and West Maple Streets, there is an additional large parking lot. The reception: If you choose to drive to the reception, please follow signs at Gervasi Vineyard for the "Villa Grande." There will be parking attendants at the entrance, guiding guests to the correct venue when they first arrive to property. There are parking spaces in front of the venue, including handicapped parking.
If you are staying the night in Canton, please use this time to check in to your hotel. Check-in at the Hilton Garden Inn Akron-Canton begins at 3pm. Once you are settled in, catch the next available shuttle to Gervasi Vineyard. If you arrive before cocktail hour begins at 4:30pm, check out one of the three restaurants: The Crush House, The Bistro, or The Piazza. The Still House is a distillery on the property which offers drinks and live music. The Marketplace is the winery shop as well as additional pop-up shops, and The Cave offers wine tasting. Feel free to walk around the property and take photos!
We have a wedding hotel block reserved at the Hilton Garden Inn Akron-Canton. Make sure to provide the wedding reservation ID LIVEBE to receive the wedding block rate.
