Come celebrate with us; we're getting married!

This couple began their journey as colleagues at a local middle school. Terra was the teacher and Gary was the one-on-one teaching assistant supporting a student in her class. Becoming work associates, then friends, the couple would eventually become official, then unofficial, and would repeat that cycle until Gary decided enough was enough. On May 18, 2024, Gary proposed while on a nature walk during a romantic getaway. She said, "Yes!!!" and the countdown was on. According to Terra, she did not expect a romantic relationship to come of their friendship, but Gary said he knew she would be his wife from the first moment he laid eyes on her. Both are heavily connected to their district and the community, he (publicly) and she (civically), to ensure that the residents are represented and considered especially when changes may affect them. As far as bringing work home, they both share the love of family and are committed to one another and their community. In this end, the story is just beginning.
