I have been working directly with Leon in reservations, you can email him at leon@hotelakumalcaribe.com or call (915) 222-8634 to make a reservation. The reservation office is open Mon-Fri 8am-4pm (mountain standard time). A 50% deposit is required to hold the room and the other 50% is due 60 days before arrival. There are two room types available, the first is the ocean front hotel which has rooms and the bungalows, which are behind the hotel, but still very close to the beach. The room rate includes free continental breakfast and wifi.

Transportation to the Hotel

Akumal is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes from the Cancun airport. It is best to rent a private van (they can hold up to 8 people) to split the cost. You can also schedule a stop at a grocery store for $25 (great idea if you are staying the whole week to stock up on snacks/booze). Transportation is something that will be booked closer to arrival time and I will update this page with more info then. I'm thinking most of the CT people will arrive together making it easiest to share vans.
