Below are hotel and travel tips to help make your stay as smooth and fun as possible. ⸻ 🏨 Hotel Recommendations ✨ Primary Hotel Block (Near Reception) Hampton Inn & Suites Alexandria Old Town Area South 📍 5821 Richmond Highway, Alexandria, VA 22303 We’ve reserved a room block here to make it easy to stay close to Belle Haven Country Club, where the reception will be held. 🛏️ Rooms are available under John McClellan. We recommend booking early, as availability is limited. ⸻ 🏛️ Old Town Option (Near Ceremony) The Alexandrian, Autograph Collection 📍 480 King Street, Alexandria, VA 22314 For guests who prefer to stay in Old Town Alexandria, The Alexandrian is a beautiful option located near St. Mary’s Basilica and within walking distance of shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. Please note that this hotel is closer to the ceremony and a short drive from Belle Haven Country Club. ⸻ ✈️ Airports Reagan National Airport (DCA) – ~15 minutes from Old Town The closest and easiest option. Quick drive or rideshare to Alexandria. Dulles International (IAD) – ~45 minutes Great for out-of-town flights. We recommend renting a car if flying into Dulles. Baltimore-Washington (BWI) – ~1 hour Another option, often great for budget flights. You’ll definitely want a car if flying into BWI. ⸻ 🚗 Getting Around While Uber, Lyft, and metro are available, we recommend renting a car if you’re coming from out of town, especially if you’d like to explore the area or stay outside of Old Town. • St. Mary’s Basilica (Ceremony): Located in the heart of Old Town Alexandria. Limited street parking + nearby garages. Church parking lots can be found at the link below and you are welcome to park in them: https://stmaryoldtown.org/directions-parking-hours/ • Belle Haven Country Club (Reception): Just a short drive from Old Town with free parking for all guests.
