Wedding Party

"Our story began on the the dating app Hinge on February 14th, 2020. I feared I was being lazy when I agreed to meet up with Kent for lunch because he lived in Oak Park and that meant I wouldn't have to go into the city or drive further out into the suburbs to meet him! Our first date was Sunday, February 23rd 2020. Our second and third date were in the same week! Three weeks into seeing each other quarantine began. Since we both were living alone and suddenly didn't have work to fill our time, we decided to continue seeing each other. What began as curious interest quickly grew into a relationship. I love to joke that quarantine was my "wing-woman"! The past five years have contained the best and worst, and through it all we have continued to choose each other. It hasn't always been easy, but it has been worth it!" -Teresa We cannot wait to celebrate the next chapter of our story with all of you. Audrey is Teresa's younger sister, the two grew up sharing a room and growing a life long friendship and bond! Audrey was also the first of Teresa's family to meet Kent.

Kevin is Kent's older brother and closest friend. The two share many interests and Kevin was part of the motivation for Kent's move from Indiana to the Chicagoland area.

Caroline is Teresa's older sister and the two have been mistaken for twins more than once. Caroline is the biggest supporter of Teresa's craft passion and they both share many interests, hobbies, and clothes.

Nate Best

Kent and Nate grew up together, became good friends during high school and were college roommates. They both share a passion for music and stay connected via game nights. Kent was also a groomsman in Nate's wedding.

Katy Dammers

Katy and Teresa originally met in dance, and become best friends in high school. Katy sends Teresa a postcard from every single new place she travels to and Teresa loves to visit Katy in whatever city she is living in!

Kent and Tim have known each other since high school and developed a good friendship during college. They both share a love for basketball and the Indiana Pacers. They keep in frequent contact via the group's game nights.

Lauren Beine

Lauren and Teresa were roommates in college, after having only met once they quickly became the best of friends and roommates! Lauren often visits Teresa for a "girl's weekend" and was one of the first of Teresa's friends to meet Kent.

Paul Deziel

Paul is Teresa's "fake irish twin" because they are only 17 months apart in age. They are very close and love talking for hours about many different themes. Teresa and Kent are so excited that Paul has agreed to marry them, they've known they wanted him to be their officiant since before they became engaged!
