Question
Do you have any hotel recommendations?
Answer
Yes we have blocks at the Holiday Inn Express in Schererville and the Hampton Inn & Suites in Schererville. There is also a Best Western (across from the Hampton), a Staybridge Suites (across from the Holiday Inn), and a Comfort Inn right next to The Bullpen (welcome party venue). You can find links to the blocks in our Travel section of the website. All the hotels are a 5 minute drive from our wedding venue.
Question
Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?
Answer
Yes! We will be hosting a welcome gathering for out-of-town guests arriving on Friday! We will have drinks and desserts, so feel free to get dinner at this restaurant or one of the many other options in the area and stop by after. This is a casual "open house" style event so come by whenever, we look forward to seeing you!

Are there steps at the venue?
Answer
There is both a step route and a non-step route between the ceremony location and the reception spaces. Our ushers will be more than happy to assist guests via either route!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
The ceremony is at 4pm central time (Dyer, Indiana is in the Central Time Zone). Please do not arrive more than 30 minutes prior to the venue.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?
Answer
Yes! We will have a shuttle service to take guests to and from the wedding and the hotels!

Is there parking at the venue?
Answer
Yes! Meyer's Castle has multiple parking lots and a shuttle that will take guests to and from the parking lots as the venue sits on a hill.

Are children invited?
Answer
We love children, however the number of children in the lives of all our loved ones proved to be more than we could handle! The wedding will be a mostly adult affair with the exception of a few children very close to us (most of whom you will see walking down the aisle).

Is there a dress code?
Answer
Our wedding is a formal event. We look forward to everyone dressing up and celebrating with us! Weather permitting the ceremony will be outdoors so please dress accordingly.
