They made many memories together renovating Matthew's house, going to the movies, late night video game sessions, working out, and road trips.

Sarah is Abby's youngest sister. She will be pulling double duty by also serving as the pianist for the ceremony. Sarah is a very talented pianist, and Abby wanted to somehow incorporate her into the ceremony. Sarah graciously agreed to serve as both the pianist and a bridesmaid.

Ryan is Erik's older and only brother. Though several states now separate them physically, the bond of family keeps them close.
Melissa Petersen

Melissa and Abby attended the same church in Indianapolis until Melissa's family moved away in elementary school. They became reacquainted when they both attended the same nursing program. Abby considers Melissa to be a lifelong friend, and she is so grateful for their friendship.

Brock and Erik met at Erik's first job out of college. They found that they shared a common interest in firearms which led to a friendship forming outside of the workplace. Over the years they have attended gun shows together several times, worked together on projects in Brock's home, and made several trips to a gun range together.

Lauren and Abby met on the first day of nursing school while standing in the hallway waiting to meet their advisor. Abby considers Lauren to be a lifelong friend and is so grateful for their friendship.

Joe and Erik met at Erik's first job after college. They worked together in the same department. A friendship formed as they worked together over the years and had a shared interest in video games.

Dale and Erik met at Erik's first job out of college. They worked together frequently on industrial automation projects and found that they had a common interest in automation and motorcycles. They have enjoyed group motorcycle rides on several occasions.
