If you would like to bless us as we start this new chapter and wish to help us create lasting memories as we begin this beautiful new chapter, we’ve set up a honeymoon fund. For our Canadian friends, feel free to send an auto-deposit e-transfer to tdmitu@gmail.com For our European loved ones, we’d be honored to receive a busta in person, following the beautiful Italian tradition. What happens if I can't attend the wedding?

If you’re unable to join us in person, we completely understand and will truly miss your presence on this special day. Each of our guests holds a unique place in our hearts, having enriched our lives through cherished memories and meaningful connections. Even though you won’t be with us physically, we’ll make sure you’re included in the celebration by sharing the highlights and beautiful moments with you. As a token of our appreciation, we’ll reserve a wedding favour in your honour and hand deliver it to you when we return, so you can feel a part of the celebration with us!

Dress to Impress! For our wedding, we’ve thoughtfully curated a timeless and elegant color palette that reflects refined sophistication and romance. The tones are soft and classic, evoking the charm of old-world elegancy and romance. We kindly request formal attire, encouraging you to embrace this understated grace in your look. Feel free to incorporate hues from our earth-inspired palette—neutral colors like black, beige, deep green, blue and burgundy as well as other similar shades, and metallics like champagne, gold, and silver—subtly into your outfit, ensuring the atmosphere remains formal and dignified. While we adore vibrant energy, we kindly ask that you avoid overly bold colors such as red, hot pink, neon or bright, flashy hues, in order to maintain the event’s elegance. This thoughtful approach will create a unified aesthetic, perfect for the atmosphere and photography we are trying to achieve. Dress to impress, but most importantly, dress to celebrate!

What should I do if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

We want everyone to indulge in the amazing Sicilian cuisine at our wedding! If you have any dietary restrictions, allergies, or special preferences, please let us know as soon as possible. The final menu will be confirmed one month before the wedding, so kindly share any dietary needs by then. While we will do our best to accommodate everyone, last-minute changes may not be feasible. As Sicily is renowned for its fresh seafood, fish will feature prominently on the menu. However, we can arrange an alternative meat option for guests who aren’t fond of fish. Simply reach out to Diego and Teodora, and we’ll ensure there’s something delicious for you to enjoy!

While we would love to have everyone bring a guest, the venue size and guest list restrictions mean that only those formally invited can attend. If a plus one is part of your invitation, you’ll see their details when you RSVP. We appreciate your understanding!

How should I prepare for a destination wedding?

Answer

Before you pack your bags, be sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months from your travel date—this is a must for international travel. Don’t forget to bring a plug adapter (Italy uses Type F plugs) and consider travel insurance for peace of mind. And of course, if you’re not familiar with Sicily, don’t hesitate to reach out to us for any advice!

What can I expect from the Sicilian weather?

Sicily boasts a beautiful Mediterranean climate, and we’re lucky to be celebrating during June, when the weather is warm and sunny. Expect temperatures around 25-30°C (77-86°F). During the day, light, breathable clothing is ideal, but be sure to bring a light jacket or shawl for the evening when temperatures may dip. Marsala, known for its breezy atmosphere, may feel a bit cooler, while Palermo tends to be more humid. Make sure to pack accordingly, and don’t forget your sunscreen to fully enjoy the Sicilian sun!
