First Stop
Where it all began!! FIrecakes is a great place for some classic glazed and frosted donuts. Their Tahitian Vanilla Glazed, Pistachio Old Fashioned, and Maple Bacon Longjohn are some of our favorites
Second Stop
A stuffed donut staple! if you love a good jelly or creme-filled donut, Stan's is your place. Known for their Pockets and Bismarks, you can get real full real quick here. I suggest splitting a Stan's if you are planning to indulge in donuts on all the stops.
Third (and best) Stop
Chicago's best donut. I'm not kidding when I say the Cinnamon Old'Fashioned will change your life. If you don't get these, donut worry! We will have Do-Rite donuts at the reception :)
Wildcard
While not a traditional stop on a donut tour, Bombobar is cannnnnt miss!! You can stuff your own bombolonis with all kinds of fillings, and their hot chocolates are a whole ass meal. It's also down a very Chicago-scenic street from Do-Rite, and puts you into West Loop. It's def walkable, but if it's cold or raining take a Lyft or the Green Line from State/Lake to Morgan.
Endcap
Okay so full disclosure this isn't where we went at the end of our first date, but it turns out that Parlor is a bunch of racist tax evaders, so fuck them. Bonci Pizzeria is rated higher on Google anyway. And since it's 'cut' to how much you want, you can try a ton of different kinds of pizza while you're there. And there a lot of bars around, go nuts! Thanks for taking our Donut Tour!
