Sister-of-the-Bride!! My one and only sister! She is an incredible woman who always puts others before her. Not only is she a great chef, but she also loves to feed me too, I think. Haha. She is multi-talented. I hope I can one day achieve close to her level of cooking expertise. She has taken care of me for the past ten years and like the greatest big sister that she is. I love her with all my heart and I feel lucky to be her little sister and to have her to look up to. I am here today because of her and her sacrifices! 😊

My best friend from high school! It seems like we were destined to be friends because we met several times and were even in a wedding together, but we never were friends. It was not until high school where we ended up in the same class and instantly connected. We have been through many ups and downs and she is like a sister to me. We were able to keep in touch and remain close despite our distance apart. We are alike in so many ways yet different in others which make us the perfect pair. She is the yin to my yang!

Donna and I met in high school. We became friends and have remained friends till to this day. Donna has a real personality and someone I can rely on to keep things real with me. We share many wonderful memories together, from celebrating birthdays to graduation. I am happy to still have her in my life and I hope our friendship continues for years to come.

Morayo and I met at the University of Texas at Austin in 2013. We struggled together through many science courses and made it to the other side. We became best friends and roommates. We became close very quickly. Before we met, I would see her every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, standing outside of our Organic Chemistry class with sunglasses on while on the phone. I was like, ‘Why is she wearing sunglasses and there is no sun?’. We still laugh about it to this day. I am happy to have Morayo in my life. We have been through a lot together and we are like sisters. Our lives are changing and evolving, and I have no doubt we will always be friends. #mymoviebuddy

Modupeeeeee!!! She is one of the first people I became friends with in college and we have been friends since. This brilliant lawyer is loving, hardworking, persevering, and incredibly smart. We were also college roommates and I got to see the sacrifices she made to ensure she reaches her dreams. I am incredibly proud of her and I am fortunate to have her as one of my closest and dearest friends. She is also one of my fittest friends too. I aspire to such fitness levels. I am getting there though. 😊

Throughout the past few months, Salo and I have been wedding planning together and trying to get in the best shape of our lives. Haha. She is insanely smart, and I am super proud of this chemical engineer. I am excited for us to officially be sisters and to continue being friends as we experience many life milestones together.

Leiya ouuuuuu!!! Leiya and I met as college roommates. Although she did not attend the same college as Modupe, Morayo, and I, she was placed in our apartment as our fourth roommate. Modupe, Morayo and I were skeptical about who would be living with us but instantly, all our personalities meshed well together. She would make grilled chicken sandwiches for us, and we would have dance parties in the middle of the night. Leiya is such a joy to be around. Her energy is pumped, and she is a great cheerleader. I am happy to have Leiya in my life.

Ayodele is that guy that everyone both, hates to love and loves to hate. He is my guy and I am sticking beside him to the end. One of the few loyal high school friends who is still relevant and significant in my life as a professional mature adult. Ever since I have known him, he has entertained, punished, and brought joy to people's lives. I'm glad to have him as my best man. He knows and remembers me from the days when I was very dusty. Was very front and center in my controversial days, and has shared a lot of life experiences with me. Now we are enjoying life correctly and respectfully.

We spent a lot of time together from our high school days, from running up and down the streets, getting into trouble, and sharing successes. We even shared some dope freestyle sessions. Ultimately, Ryan is a great guy, a great father, and a competent businessman. He has always supported me and believed in me 1000%. Everyone deserves a friend like Ry.

AyeeeeeJayyyyyy... this guy is truly my guy. When I needed a great individual in my life at the time that I was fed up with mediocracy, AJ was the perfect guy that the Lord brought into my life. I entered the University of Houston with no friends and only a hunger for success and AJ was the only friend that I needed. Through him, we created an unspoken bond and hustled our way through a rigorous engineering program, and came out victorious. AJ is one that will break through thresholds and through this, he inspires anyone that is around him. At times when you are down or complacent, AJ is there to rescue you to pick you back up to get you back on your trajectory. AJ is necessary.

Nnammmdieeee, Mr Emebo. Another great man. His ability to persevere and his shared hunger for being a well-rounded black man in this society that any and everyone will respect is one of the great reasons how we became great friends. Someone that you can rely on. AJ, Nnamdi, and I became the three musketeers in the petroleum engineering college and when our powers combined, there was not anything within our mental scope that we did not accomplish. He knows how to mask his struggles while remaining to move in style. Mr enjoyment will make sure to enjoy.

When it comes to the genuine kindness in my nature, I must say that Siji shares that attribute of mine. He knows how to be honest, yet kind at the same time - a quality that only a few master and Siji has the stamp. If deserving, he will give you his last. Another individual who knows how to optimize any situation and turn it to greatness - a true problem solver. Anyone with Siji in their life is immensely blessed. I can say without Siji strive, drive, and placement in my life, I would also not have made it to the place that I am in today.

Kani is a great guy. The likelihood of an Finance major and Engineering major to cross paths and build a lasting friendship whilst in school is slim but in our case, it happened and I’m grateful that it did. There is always a premium element about people that I call my friends, and with Kani, he definitely screams out high quality man. I mean this guys brain is highly efficient. If you spend 10 hours studying for an exam, just know he will spend 1 and still get an A. Lol. Only he knows if it is an exaggeration but from the outside looking in, that is how others view it. Stand up guy that is a man of his word, if he said he gots you, best believe, he gots you, he doesn’t have to speak twice. Too nice.
