What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is Black Tie. Ladies should wear an evening gown and men should wear a tux.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

Houston weather can be very unpredictable. Although we are praying it will be a warm and sunny day, the average temperature in Houston in February is 64 degrees (F).

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only accommodate those listed on your invitation.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We have reserved a hotel block at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Houston Northwest. Last day to book to get our group rate is 12th February 2022. This hotel is about 6 minutes from the venue. Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. If your kid(s) is/are invited, it will be specified on your invitation. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Where should guests park? Is parking free?

There is ample free parking in front of the venue for our guests.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both ceremony and reception will be indoors to ensure the comfort of our guests.

Will there be any vegan/vegetarian/gluten free/special diet options?

Answer

If you have any dietary restrictions, please inform Michael or Tennian by January 30th, 2022 so your requests can be accommodated.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 15-30mins before the time mentioned on the invitation. We intend to start our ceremony on time!

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Our wedding ceremony will be unplugged, no cellphones and cameras. After the ceremony, Yes! However, please do not get in the way of our professional photographers and videographers. They should be given the respect needed to accomplish the job they were paid to do. If you do decide to post on social media, please use our hashtag, #MikegotaTen

Please feel free to reach out to the bride or groom for assistance, or to get your questions answered up until February 26th, 2022. We will not be available on our wedding date to answer questions as we are aiming for a stress-free, relaxing, and most of all enjoyable day for ourselves.
