Bride
Chris gets jealous that other people get to have Sarah as a nurse. She's compassionate, sweet, and a whole lot of sassy. Dancing is not her favorite so when you see her on the floor, just know its because she loves Chris a whole lot. She eats cookies two at a time, and in college she was renowned for surviving on red bull and hotdogs.
Groom
This hunky human is one of a kind. He writes love notes on Sarah’s bathroom mirror, loves any thrilling adventure, and leaves sprinkles everywhere after baking cookies. He works as a pediatric emergency room nurse at the same hospital as Sarah and they’re looking forward to a lifetime of taking lunch breaks together. Chris is absolutely going to be the last to leave his own party and is going to cheer you on from the dance floor while getting caught stealing lots of extra dessert.
Maid of Honor
Katie is Sarah's younger sister and the Maid of Honor. There's no one in Sarah's life that can make her laugh so hard and simultaneously want to strangle all at the same time. She loves to travel & can make a mean craft cocktail. Ask her about her cute corgi pup, Kit.
Best Man
Matt is Chris's older brother and will probably be the last one on the dance floor. He's one of the most caring, loving, and engaging people Chris has ever met and he feels blessed to call him a friend, let alone his big brother.
Bridesmaid
Sarah and Claire met on the first day of nursing school at Washington State. They were known to skip class for a good hike. Claire loves ice cream, dogs, and mismatched pairs of fuzzy socks. Claire is a Second Lieutenant in the US Army and is working as a Nurse at Fort Bragg where she lives with her fella, Cody.
Groomsman
Micah slapped Chris with a PB&J freshman year of High School. From then on, he knew Micah would be standing next to him one day. Micah graduated from the University of Washington and is building skyscrapers in Seattle. He's generous, and kind hearted and he just bought a cute little Toyota - ask him about it.
Bridesmaid
Alexa and Sarah met at Washington State and they weren't friends at first. Now they love to spend summers together in Kingston and Sandpoint, Idaho by the water and the fall at Cougar Football games. Alexa is one of the most dedicated and driven individuals you'll ever encounter. She's a teacher in the Tri-Cities, a sorority Chapter Advisor, and just bought and flipped her own home.
Groomsman
Cam is the master of pool parties, whip tricks, he's a semi-pro alpine skier, and the best car DJ you'll ever seen. Cam is finishing school at Eastern Washington University and is working to join the ATF in Eastern Washington. He's also a Staff Sergeant in the Air National Guard. Translation: he's a bad*ss.
Bridesmaid
Sarah and Marie lived across the hall from each other at Washington State, making one another honorary roommates. Marie taught Sarah to water ski last summer, is the queen of making extravagant salads, and has a contagious laugh that you just can’t miss. She is a Project Manager for a construction management firm in Seattle and she spends most of her spare time coaching high school cheerleading - the best of both worlds.
Groomsman
Thad always had the best birthday parties - ever. He's a fiercely loyal friend and is studying to become a nurse. He lives in Seattle and is a stunt double for Ryan Reynolds.
Bridesmaid
Caroline and Sarah were fast friends after Sarah shared her pen collection during biology classes together in college. Caroline once talked Sarah into going skydiving; she has a heart for adventure and encouraging others to live just a little more than they imagined. She's currently attending medical school in Madison, WI and has been recognized with some pretty major awards for her dedication to a career in helping others. We're hoping she will pursue a residency on the West Coast.
Groomsman
Michael always beats Chris at pool, when he let him of course. Quiet, calm, and reserved, Michael usually has a good piece of wisdom to share, but don't let that fool you, he always has room for adventure. Michael lives in Spokane and is applying to police academies across the state.
Bridesmaid
Summer and Sarah have known each other since their Delta Gamma days and lived together while at Washington State. Summer has a creative soul: she's a photographer, an amazing artist, and semi-pro cookie decorator. She's an art teacher in Arlington, WA where she lives with her husband, Ben, and their cats.
Groomsman
Ricky and Chris played soccer together in elementary school and to this day Ricky is still the most laid back and kind person ever. A recent graduate of Computer Science from Western Washington University, Ricky's goal is to defeat hackers on a global scale. A 3rd degree black belt in IT defense. He beats Chris at Mario Kart and Super Smash Bros every time.
Bridesmaid
Sarah moved to Spokane her senior year of high school and Lesley was basically her only friend. Lesley loves people, and hockey, and has as many weird allergies as Sarah does. She lives in Portland with her fiancé, Cody, and their very very big dog, Tilly. She will probably talk to you about hockey, and Yellowstone Park, and her love for shoes.
Groomsman
Kyle Wood is an ER nurse at Holy Family Hospital in Spokane. He's kind, honest, and loyal. However, given his love for high risk adventure sports, he's more likely to arrive at his work as a patient than a provider. Chris did Crossfit with him. Once. *he's single*
Bridesmaid
Cait is Sarah's oldest friend. They met while their dads worked together in Montana and twenty something years later, their families are dear friends. They've spent endless days sleeping on trampolines staring at stars, riding 4 wheelers, and jumping in the Columbia River. Cait has a love for travel, and is currently living in Bozeman, probably dreaming of the next country she will move to.
Groomsman
Tyler is a Cardiac Nurse at Overlake Hospital in Bellevue. He gave himself an ulcer from missing his wife while completing his Med/Surg semester. If that isn't relationship goals then we don't know what is. Fun fact: Christmas was made for Tyler and Tyler was made for Christmas. Chris wouldn't have made it through nursing school without him.
Ring Bearer
Brody is the best nephew ever and the cutest ring bearer you'll ever see. We're hoping he makes it down the isle fully clothed.
Groomsman
Chris will always catch the bigger fish when we go out. He can sneak onto any roof in downtown Spokane, and he can play the guitar right up there with the best of them. Seriously. You'll catch him in action at the wedding too. He's the most genuine person Chris has ever met.
Flower Girl
These girls are fun and spunky and will most likely be inventing new moves on the dance floor.
Officiant
Kyle has been Chris's mentor for almost 10 years. He loves to swim and listen to audio books and will be killing it at the fire pits roasting marshmallows after the ceremony. Chris describes Kyle as being the most Christ-like person he knows and we are honored that he will get to marry us this September.
Mother of the Bride
This gem is Sarah's mom. She's had a blast getting to help plan this wedding and has knocked it out of the park. She's currently raising two dogs, likes long walks on the beach, and has quite the green thumb.
Father of the Bride
Sarah and her dad love to dance - usually after a little tequila. He's taught her to be driven but to also pursue passions that make work all worth it. He's a family man first, making some big sacrifices for his girls over the years. He works in lumber, but spends more time on a lacrosse field than in a board room. Tom can always be found in Syracuse Orange, likely even at the wedding.
Mother of the Groom
Chris describes his mom as the most caring and generous woman he's ever met, and he'll probably never know all the sacrifices she's made for him and his family. Having served 20 years in the Navy she is currently a nurse administrator at the Spokane VA. If you plan on attending, you better plan on a hug from Momma Liss.
Father of the Groom
The most wise, patient, and hardworking man, Mike works as an electrician in Spokane. When you see him give him a firm handshake (or a hug) and say "Semper Fi". The greatest gift Chris has ever had is being able to call Michael his Father.
