Nigerian favorites include jollof rice, fried rice, pounded yams with egusi or okra soup, suya (spicy grilled meat), plantains, moi moi (steamed bean pudding), puff puff (sweet fried dough), and pepper soup. Flavors are bold, spicy, and full of rich herbs and seasonings.
A traditional Nigerian engagement ceremony is a vibrant celebration where both families formally unite. It features cultural attire, music, dancing, and symbolic gift exchanges that honor heritage, love, and family. It’s joyful, colorful, and filled with tradition.
Our traditional Nigerian ceremony will include a variety of non-alcoholic drinks, and guests are welcome to bring their own beverages (BYOB). The wedding celebration will offer beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options for everyone to enjoy.
For those who wish to give, we kindly note that we would prefer monetary gifts as we begin this next chapter together. That said, there is absolutely no expectation; please do whatever feels most meaningful to you. We are truly grateful to celebrate with you.
