FAQs

While, we've attempted to anticipate your questions and address them as thoroughly as possible, if we missed anything or you need further clarity, please call Ms. Ivy Caldwell, mother of the bride, at (901) 606-7480 or email lovejones041622@gmail.com
Question

What precautions are you taking in light of COVID-19?

Answer

We are very well aware that the pandemic rages on. For that reason, as well as in consideration of the holiday, we are providing a streaming option, which you can select in your RSVP. You will receive a link closer to the ceremony, so that you can support us and bear witness from the comfort and safety of your home. For those who choose to attend in person, while we ask that you bring your masks, we are also realistic and highly doubt that they will stay on for the entirety of the celebration. Therefore we respectfully ask that you bring proof of a negative COVID test result (PCR STRONGLY preferred due to test reliability). You results should be within 72 hours of the ceremony, meaning you are not tested before Wednesday, April 13th. Please have your results readily available to show in order to enter the ceremony. We also ask, especially in the days immediately preceding the wedding, that you continue to be very diligent with mask wearing, handwashing, and social distancing, if/when possible. We want everyone invited to attend, but we also want everyone to be safe and feel protected.

Question

I'm confused about the RSVP. Can you explain it?

Answer

Thanks for asking. We appreciate your presence in our lives and your willingness to celebrate this occasion with us. Visit the RSVP tab & enter your first and last name. If you have received an invitation for the in-person celebration and wish to attend in person, select whether or not you will attend, select your meal preference, and answer the questions that follow as they apply to you. Otherwise, you may skip them or enter "none" or "n/a." If you have received an invitation for the in-person celebration but wish to live stream instead, please first visit the RSVP section for the in-person section & specify that you will not attend. Then, visit the virtual ceremony event, select that you will attend, and enter your preferred email address.

Question

Are you registered? Where?

Answer

Yes. We are registered on Zola. You can access our full registry by selecting the "Registry" tab above. If nothing there tickles your fancy, we will have a wishing well at the ceremony venue. We sincerely appreciate your generosity.

Question

Can I bring a date/friend?

Answer

We are grateful for all of the family and friends who wish us well and want to celebrate this special day. However, in consideration of seating and other planning details, we ask that only invited guests attend.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. The grounds are ours for the day. There is plenty of available parking. However, we do advise carpooling if/when at all possible. We appreciate your cooperation with the parking attendants in advance.

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We hope that you will be enjoying catching up with familiar faces to great music if you're in your seats by 3:45pm. This means you have parked, shown a hostess proof of your negative COVID test, and found your seat before that time:)

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes! We hope to see gentlemen in suits or slacks/shirt. Ladies, we can't wait to see you dazzle in your favorite tea or full-length dresses.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

While we love all of our little ones, this is an adults-only event. We appreciate your understanding.

Question

What setting will the wedding be in?

Answer

Weather permitting, our ceremony will take place outdoors with the reception immediately following inside. The grounds of our beautiful venue are absolutely breathtaking and ours for the day, though, so feel free to enjoy (safely) before and after the ceremony.

Question

Are the reception and ceremony wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes. Access to the outdoor ceremony as well as the venue interior both have wheelchair accessibility as well as restroom accomodations.

Question

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

Sure! We do ask that everyone is unplugged (phones down, away, and silenced) during the ceremony but would love to see the party (cocktail hour & reception) from your eyes! Please tag your photos #KeepUpWithTheJoneses22

Question

My question was not answered on this list. What should I do?

Answer

You have a couple of options. You may email our wedding email account lovejones041622@gmail.com, which is checked regularly. You may also contact Ivy Caldwell, mother of the bride, at (901) 606-7480 or our wedding planner/coordinator Daria Greene at (901) 921-2081. We respectfully ask that you refrain from calling the bride and groom before using these other methods, as this time is increasingly hectic for them.
