Kindly RSVP by May 15th! The sooner the better though – we can't wait to celebrate with you! 🎉
No visa needed! An update was shared and the European Travel Information and Authorization System (ETIAS) has been delayed to 2026!
The ferry schedule has officially been released! You can easily check ferry schedules and book through ferryhopper.com! However, if you're planning to visit the Aegean Islands (Mykonos, Santorini, Paros, Milos), you'll need to fly back through Athens and take a ferry/flight from there, as those islands are on the opposite side of Greece.
We recommend staying in Lassi or Argostoli. Please visit the "Travel & Stay" tab to view our hotel recommendations.
Yes, shuttles will be provided to all wedding festivities for guests staying at the hotels where we’ve reserved room blocks (Kefalonia Grand, Princess, & White Rocks). Unfortunately, we won’t be able to provide transportation for those staying outside the recommended neighborhoods/hotels. More specifics about shuttle schedules will be shared closer to the wedding date. WELCOME PARTY A shuttle will be provided to those staying in Argostoli with a pick-up from the Kefalonia Grand. Drosia Restaurant is in Lassi and walking distance from White Rocks and the Princess Hotel. (5-8 min walk) BOAT CRUISE A shuttle will be provided for those staying in Lassi with a pick-up from the White Rocks and the Princess Hotel. For those staying at the Kefalonia Grand, the harbor where Kefalonia Cruise Lady O docks is right across the street! WEDDING DAY Shuttles will be available from Lassi, with pick-ups at White Rocks and Princess Hotel, as well as from downtown Argostoli, with a pick-up at the Kefalonia Grand.
For all wedding festivities, we’ll be providing shuttles to get you where you need to go. However, if you want the freedom to explore at your own pace, a rental car is essential. Kefalonia is the 6th largest island in Greece and there is a lot to see! Many suggestions on our "Explore the Island" tab, including the Venetian towns, are outside of Argostoli and will require a car to get to. While taxis and buses are available, Uber does not operate here. Don’t forget—you’ll need an international driver’s license to rent and drive here, so be sure to arrange that before your trip!
We’ll miss you! If you’d prefer to skip the boat trip, we recommend taking the day to explore Kefalonia’s beautiful inland, relax on one of the stunning beaches, or enjoy a wine tasting. Kefalonia is renowned for its wine, particularly the Robola grape, a white variety that thrives in the island’s rocky, mountainous terrain. It's known for it's crisp, refreshing flavors with notes of citrus and herbs, making it the perfect match for the island's seafood and Mediterranean cuisine. Some nearby wineries you can visit include Gentilini Winery, Robola Winery, and Kefalonia Winery. Be sure to check out our "Explore the Island" tab for more recommendations, or feel free to reach out to us for further suggestions.
Women: Think La Dolce Vita garden party — flowy silhouettes and airy fabrics with rich floral prints. Dresses in warm, sunset-inspired hues like champagne, orange, red, and golden yellow, with Grecian blues and greens reminiscent of the Mediterranean seas. Men: Resort formal—no ties needed and jackets are optional. Opt for a lightweight button-down and linen pants in light colors like blue, green, sand, beige. Keep in mind, it will be very hot! Ask me for my Pinterest board to reference! I'll send your way! 🥰
The wedding ceremony will take place indoors at a church with air conditioning. The reception will be outdoors, however, the venue has an indoor area for respite.
Our wedding dinner will be served buffet and family-style, so we won’t be taking specific plate orders. However, there will be an array of options, including vegetarian and gluten-free choices, at the Welcome Party, on the Boat Cruise, and on our Wedding Day. If you have specific allergies, please note them when you RSVP so we can accommodate you!
The weather in Kefalonia at the end of June and beginning of July is typically warm and sunny, with average daytime temperatures ranging from 77°F to 85°F. Expect clear skies and gentle breezes, making it perfect for outdoor celebrations and exploring the island. It will be hot so stay hydrated! :)
Yes! We'd love for all the kiddos to join us in the celebration!
