The nearest airport is in Guatemala City and is just under 25 miles from Antigua. From Houston (IAH), both Spirit and United Airlines offer non-stop, daily flights. It's an easy 2:25 minute flight from Houston! Antigua is located in the central time zone. Prior to purchasing your ticket, you may contact the mother-of-the-bride or the mother-of-the-groom for a group fare rate from IAH-to-GUA on United Airlines. Travel Note
We highly recommend that you pre-book a shuttle/car service prior to arriving. For a Sun - Thurs arrival, plan for a travel time of 45 minutes. For a Fri - Sat arrival, plan for a travel time of 1.5 - 2 hours. The wedding venue (Hotel Casa Santo Domingo) is located in the heart of the city making it convenient to explore the beautiful, colonial city on foot. Many of the streets are cobblestone so consider comfortable shoes for sightseeing. Uber is available for traveling in and around the city. As with any unfamiliar destination, we highly discourage public transportation buses, or unsolicited offers for transport. Additionally, the hotel can arrange transportation to local attractions.
