No! Though we absolutely encourage taking advantage of the discount being offered, especially since staying at the resort will be convenient, we understand that even the discounted price is higher then what is acceptable for people on a budget.
In all likelihood, yes, especially if you do not stay at the Aulani. If you choose to stay in cities outside of Kapolei, which is where the Aulani is located, you are looking at a 15+ minute drive to reach the resort. Even if you do stay at Aulani, chances are, you will want to make the most of your stay on this beautiful island so a rental car is definitely encouraged.
For those guests not staying at the Aulani, we are covering the valet parking fee for you, so you should not have to worry about parking when you arrive to our event.
Yes, however, it is not a free service. It costs $24 per person over the age of three. So, a pair of people would pay $100 total just for a ride to and from the airport. It would be way more cost efficient to rent a car, which, at this moment can be done for as little as $25 a day. This is especially better if you intend to explore outside of the resort area. Even using a service like Uber will become costle if you venture too far from the resort.
