FAQs

Question

When is the deadline of RSVP?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 1st. We appreciate your timely response as we finalize details with our vendors.

Question

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

Please plan to arrive by 4:00 PM to allow time for seating and to get settled before the ceremony begins at 4:30 PM.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. The celebration will be mostly outdoors on the bluff, so we recommend comfortable shoes and dressing for the warm late summer weather.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will primarily be outdoors. Cocktail hour will be held outdoors and indoors within the historic bed and breakfast, so you will be able to enjoy both settings.

Question

How do I get to and from the wedding venue?

Answer

The venue is located at the St. John’s Inn in Portland. Parking in the venue lot is limited, so we recommend street parking, which is generally plentiful in the surrounding area. If you prefer not to drive or plan to enjoy the open bar, we recommend using a rideshare service.

Question

Will I need to RSVP?

Answer

Yes, it is required. We kindly ask that all guests RSVP by the stated deadline, and we truly appreciate responses submitted earlier. Please note that seating arrangements will only be made for those who have confirmed their attendance.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are only able to accommodate guests who are listed on your invitation. If your invitation includes a plus one, it will be indicated on your RSVP. Thank you for your understanding.

Question

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We will have an open bar for you to enjoy throughout the evening. Please celebrate responsibly and consider arranging a safe ride home.
