FAQs

Question

Are kids allowed?

Answer

While we love children, we would like everyone to enjoy a night off! Please check with Ted and Sarah before bringing any children.

Question

Will shuttle service be provided?

Answer

Due to the remote nature of the Blue Hill Peninsula, a shuttle service will not be provided. We will have designated drivers available for those who need a lift home. For more information, ask Ted or Sarah.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Your RSVP will indicate if a plus one is accounted for or not. Please do not bring extra guests if a plus one is not available on your RSVP.

Question

What is the best way to get to Blue Hill?

Answer

There are many routes to Blue Hill via car. The Highway: Take I95 to Bangor, get off at exit 182A, and continue on Route 1A through Ellsworth - this is the longest route mileage wise, but it is mostly highway driving so it goes quick. Sarah and Ted's route: We take I95 to Augusta and get off at Exit 113 to Belfast. From there, we follow Route 3 and join Route 1 in Belfast. A pretty, scenic drive, but it is a one lane road. This route will take you across the Penobscot Narrows Bridge, an iconic Maine suspension bridge completed in 2014. Stop at the museum and take the elevator up to the top of the bridge for some amazing views of Bucksport and the Penobscot River. The scenic route: Take Route 1 up the Maine Coast and stop in all the coastal towns along the way. This is the longest route and will take over 3 hours depending on how many stops you make.
