For those of you that don’t know her, she’s the biggest constant I’ve had in my life that isn’t blood. She’s the most encouraging, empowering, honest friend I’ve ever had. I would be so lost without her. Although she won her title of Maid of Honor in a duel, she earned it long before that.

This is Eric. From forced snuggles to man yoga, he was my constant living in a new state all by myself. He’s taught me how to be more patient and kind than I realized I needed. The way he loves has turned his friendship into family. Congratulations to you all for getting the pleasure of meeting him at our wedding. But he’s ours and you cannot have him.

Meet Sydney. I am proud of knowing a lot of people but Sydney may just take the cake. She has worked so hard to get to where she is and through everything she’s one of the most positive, uplifting people I know. Sydney can take the darkest situations and find the sunshine. She’s become my favorite sounding board when I need to hear how crazy I am. Sydney is pure kindness and joy in human form. Also, she LOVES facts about the Roman Empire, so hit her up with any you may have. If you can’t find her, check the dance floor.

My safe place in Seattle, Jalisa. I have never known a love so fast as the one I have for Jalisa. The moment we met, we clicked. I was going through a lot when we met and she never hesitated to remind me of my worth. She’s the person they are referring to when they say “she lights up the room”. From the way she loves ferociously to her gentle nurturing spirit, I am obsessed with the energy she carries. She’s also the designated red wine spiller in case anyone wears white to our wedding.

This is Patrick. He’s the platinum standard of being a good friend. Patrick is the ultimate goofball with a heart of pure gold. Being around him means getting to have deep conversations and always new experiences. He lives each day as if it’s his last and makes the most out of every situation. He’s very intentional. For these reasons, there’s not a soul in this world that we would rather have officiate our wedding.
