Billy and Emily attended middle school and part of high school together but did not have the same classes or friends. Billy moved away in high school and the two did not see each other again for many years. In 2010, Emily met Stephanie Wolff at church and the two became very close. 5 years later, Emily attended a family party hosted by Stephanie. It was then that she spotted Billy Whitehead, at the candy table. Cute as he always was, she inquired about why on earth he was at this party, and found out Stephanie is his aunt! It was 2 more years before the two would connect officially and in February 2017, they began dating. Their first date was supposed to be dinner but it ended up being several hours of talking instead and that's when they both knew this was something very special. Within weeks it was pretty obvious that this was forever and in July 2017, Billy proposed along the beach at sunrise at Houghton Lake. The couple has seen career change, baptism, sickness, health, richer, poorer, a half marathon, the loss of a beloved pet, cancer and more growth, change, adversity and victory than they ever would apart. The couple want their wedding to be an expression of what faith, true love, and redemption look like. They believe none other than God brought them together and they are overjoyed about honoring Him with you!
