"I met Nicole our first year of SCSL. We were 'flat mates'. We clicked almost instantly over our love of all things nerdy. I mean, she's singlehandedly responsible for introducing me to Dungeons and Dragons. But she's just more to me than someone I pretend to fight monsters with. She's my rock; a steady stream of "chokmah" (Spiritual godly wisdom) when I am blind to my own sin and selfishness. She's the giver of no nonsense logical advice. She's a survivor. She's been there through so many ups and downs, and moments where anyone else would have walked away. She's shown me true sisterly love and I wouldn't DREAM of having a wedding without her by my side. After all, she's MADE of honor."

Nathan became Kevin's best friend while in SCSL. They were roomed together their first year and grew their friendship out of mutual love of music and worship.

"Jenna was like my first real deal friend at SCSL, even before Nicole. I would drive her to class every morning. We were basically inseparable, always going to Tokyo Grill and doing our scripture studies on Sunday nights. And then, as luck would have it, we became Co-resident assistants our second year! You'd think I'd be sick of her but she honestly has stayed one of my best friends. She's one of those amazing people who you don't see for a while but then pick up right where you left off. She's always been this source of pure joy, and crazy administrative skills. I'm so happy God brought her into my life. I have never had a dull moment with Jenna, along with deep a serious talks about God's plan in our lives. I'm truly blessed that I get to be her friend."

"When I think of Amelia, I just think of a biggest heart trying to heal everyone and take everyone in. Amelia was an unexpected surprise. She was an assistant with me when I served as a Missionary Assistant in Florida. We ended up rooming together and we became friends almost instantly. We bonded over musicals and mutual trepidation over becoming missionary assistants and what the role of that meant. Amelia loves hard, and wants to share the love of Jesus everywhere she does with a servants heart. I was blessed to be her friend right as she was walking through her own season of engagement with her now husband, Nick. And now we get to walk this journey together too! We have had so much fun and will continue to have fun for the rest of our days!"

"KATIE! Katie is gonna join us all the way from Canada and I CAN'T WAIT to see her. Katie was another 'flat mate' from our first year apartment at SCSL and honestly has had one of the biggest impacts on me that year. Katie is a person who can be friends with anyone, and she and I became close almost under the radar. It would culminate with long talks in my room before I kicked everyone out so I can go to bed. Staying up laughing until . midnight at weird pirate stories. Katie taught me how to love unconditionally; no matter who no matter what. And how to have the grit to achieve your dreams. She inspires me everyday."
