Our Wedding Party

Alexis Coblin

Maid of Honor

Perhaps the best person I could ask to be my Maid of Honor is Alexis. Lex and I met on her technical first day of college (she was a freshman, I was a junior) in our abnormal psychology course. We quickly started talking and, in no time, we were studying together for every exam, driving around to get food, and she was becoming one of my closest friends. Even now, despite her living in Boca Raton and working incredibly hard in her career, she is always there for me and has been amazing at completing any MOH duties/requests. Lexi has also been extremely #TeamParkerandFaith from the time we met. No matter what struggles he and I have faced, whether individually or together, Lexi has always been a supporter of our relationship. There is no doubt - she has been there for me through some of my absolute best and worst moments, and I am forever grateful for her and our friendship! Furthermore, Lex was the best MOH before I was even engaged - I will always love our memories of walking with Lily May through the park and planning our future weddings together! Lexi is beyond talented, intelligent and beautiful, and I could not ask for a better Maid of Honor<3

Alex Ross

Best Man

Alex Ross is my best man and best friend for over 10 years. We first met through the church we grew up going to Suntree United Methodist in Melbourne, FL at a much younger age, but we didn’t interact much then. Years later, the summer before my sophomore year of high school we were eventually brought together by our friend Isabelle Gay (now Brazelton). We spent that summer and all the following summers with many of our other friends running around Melbourne, going to wet n wild in Orlando (rip), going on mission trips with the church and more. That summer kicked off so many projects, pranks, and adventures Alex and I would share. So many summers, and holidays have been spent together. Alex mentored me quite a bit on mission trips and continues to be a consistent, awesome best friend and adventure buddy. Whether it’s been skiing, camping, or even skydiving, Alex is always down for an awesome and crazy adventure. With all these memories and the fact we have managed to stay so close even states away, it was a no brainer for me when it came to picking a best man.

Glejdis Bilali

Maid of Honor

Continuing with my second Maid of Honor is the beautiful, brilliant Glejdis Bilali! To say Glejdis has been my rock during grad school would be an understatement! In the midst of internships, exams, and all the stress that comes with a master's program, she has been supportive 24/7 and has made it all not only bearable, but enjoyable! I am so grateful for all the Friends and New Girl marathons, cupcakes, Chick-Fil-A, Harry Potter nights and so much more<3 In addition to being an amazing friend she is a gifted therapist and aspiring psychologist, as she works tirelessly doing research and clinical work with human trafficking survivors! She is currently a doctoral student at USF's Criminology program in Tampa, FL! Above all, she is a great person and an even greater friend, and it is my absolute joy and honor to call her one of my Maids of Honor.

Jonathan Wood

Groomsman

Jonathan and I met back in 5th grade, we were put on a team against our other classmates in science class with the goal to make a boat out of aluminum foil and various other materials with a contest of whose boat could hold the most pennies. The catch was we couldn’t talk while working on the boat so we had to communicate non verbally. While we ended up winning, for some reason, maybe cause we didn’t talk the whole time, we assumed that both of us didn’t like the other...but just a few months later we reconnected and found out we actually had a lot in common. Jonathan quickly became one of my closest friends after that, and we were always at one another’s house playing video games or just hanging out. Even after Jonathan moved away just a year later, we kept in touch and maintained our friendship through many Skype calls and texting. No matter how long it has been since we last saw each other in person or how far away we live from each other, Jonathan and I have stayed good friends and even if it’s been years, when we get together it’s like we saw each other yesterday. I’m so excited to have him in my wedding, and equally as excited to stand by his side in June 2023 when he’s getting married!

Victoria Froehlich

Bridesmaid

I have had the wonderful pleasure of knowing Vicky for over 4 years now, and I am so happy and thankful to have grown so close with her since then. Although Matthew Mahoney may have been Parker's friend first (how we met Vicky), she has quickly become a close friend to us and Parker and I LIVE for our date nights with this amazing couple. Whether it is having a mini party in the townhouse, frequenting Halloween Horror Nights together or even partying downtown, we have so many wonderful memories with both of them, and perhaps even better pictures/videos (lol). Vicky herself is one of the sweetest, most driven people ever and she puts 110% effort into whatever she does. I am so excited and thrilled to call her one of my fantastic bridesmaids!

Matthew Mahoney

Groomsman

Matthew and I got to know each other while working at Publix back in 2016. We talked occasionally for a while but, I really started to remember him when he told me (jokingly) that he was going to get employee of the month. I, in my competitive nature, took this as a challenge to my impeccable customer service skills and said “actually I’m going to be the one to be employee of the month.” Although neither of us ever became employee of the month, after some more time we got to talking and started hanging out outside of work, and in just a few months Matthew became one of my closest friends. Whether it’s fishing, going drinking downtown or going on a double date with Faith and his girlfriend, Vicky (also in the wedding) and our annual trips to Halloween Horror Nights, or just getting together to catch up, I always have a great time with Matthew. We have spent plenty of time talking together and I appreciate the insights and thoughts that he has. He is a great, genuine friend and I’m so grateful to have him standing with me on my wedding day.

Raquel Arthuzo

Bridesmaid

My college experience/early twenties would not have been the same if not for Raquel. We met her during our sophomore year of college through the LEAD Scholars Academy, and she has been an important person in my life since. I will never forget the *hours of studying we spent at coffee shops, and occasionally getting our nails done or going out for drinks! She has been so supportive of me in all my endeavors, and has been a huge supporter of Parker's and my relationship for so long. I also had the incredible opportunity to serve on UCF's PLC with her (and her husband, Jon!) for two years - during one of which she was the President! To brag on her a bit - Raquel is without a doubt one of the smartest people I know! She graduated undergrad as a UCF Order of Pegasus winner and she is currently *killing it in her PhD program at Emory, where she is specializing in cancer research! Parker and I consider Jon and Raquel to be one of our closest couple friends, and we love all our Disney trips, drink nights, and more. It was an absolute honor to be in her and Jon's wedding in July 2021, and I could not be more excited to have her now in mine!<3

Jonathan Brescia

Groomsman

Jonathan and I met in the same program that Faith and I met in. Although I wasn't super involved in LEAD, a lot of my friends were. Thus, I had the unique experience of becoming involved in whatever activities the different directors like Jon, Faith, our friend Matt Chisholm, and Jon’s wife, Raquel Arthuzo, were involved in. Even though LEAD ended our sophomore year of college, we all stayed close. Jon frequently came over to hangout with Matt, who I lived with in my sophomore and junior year, and the group of us would often hang out. Those nights were honestly some of my favorite nights from early college, as so many memories were made that we still all talk & laugh about today. One major thing to note about Jon is he is *easily one of the smartest people I know! He graduated Order of Pegasus in undergrad (as did Raquel!), which is basically the highest honor a person can achieve at UCF, and he is a brilliant and skilled person. In fact, he just completed his Master’s degree in Physics at Georgia Tech university, and since then he is working nonstop and killing it. Even though he is so smart, he is also so humble about his accomplishments. Jon is fun, funny and easy to hang out with, and I always love talking with him. Faith and I have been golfing with him and Raquel lately, and have been loving it! We also both had the honor of being in Jon and Raquel’s wedding back in July of 2021, and we could not be more excited to now have them in ours!

Kaitlyn Packard

Bridesmaid

Aptly nicknamed our #TopFan, Kaitlyn is someone I have rapidly grown close with over the last year and a half. Not only is she one of my best friends, she is also my future cousin! As she is Parker's step cousin, he and I had the opportunity to attend Kaitlyn and her husband's, Kyle (also in our wedding), engagement party and wedding back in 2020; during our brief encounters, Kaitlyn and I discovered we had a lot in common and I instantly knew I wanted to get to know her more. She felt the same and at some point, we set up a date night with her and Kyle. That night was the start of what has since been *so many nights and wonderful memories with these two amazing people, complete with plenty of dinners, parties, and other fun events! Kaitlyn has been one of my biggest supporters since we started hanging out, and she has proven to already be an AMAZING bridesmaid as she has helped me in countless ways - both with support, humor, and even wedding planning when needed! As the nickname suggests, Kaitlyn is also #TeamParkerandFaith through and through, and I can't wait to have her by my side as I plan and prepare for the wedding!! Kaitlyn is also a beyond talented, gorgeous and successful individual, and I consider myself lucky to call her one of my best friends and, especially, my future cousin!

Kyle Packard

Groomsman

Kyle Packard is technically my step cousin by marriage, but more than that he’s become a very good friend in the last few years. We really have his wife/my fiancee to thank for the start of that friendship, as Kaitlyn (Steve’s niece) and Faith really hit it off at Kaitlyn and Kyle’s engagement party 2 years ago. Not long after their wedding, Faith and Kaitlyn set up plans to hang out and we decided to make it a couple’s hangout. That night was honestly so much fun. This was the start of some of my favorite nights in the past years, consistent with game nights (which Kaitlyn and Kyle love and Faith begrudgingly will play haha), karaoke, parties, and multiple attempts to have our crazy Lily dog become friends with his dogs. Kyle is one of those people who instantly makes you feel welcome and he is so easy to hangout with. Whether it’s a party filled with people or a chill game night, I always know I’m going to have a great time with Kyle. I am so appreciative of the friendship that I’ve formed with Kyle and that Faith and I have developed with both of them. I am also hoping for (and planning) some golf games in our future. Most of all, Faith and I are so happy to have Kyle and Kaitlyn in our wedding, and even more excited to meet their baby soon and watch them become the best parents!

Katy Calhoun

Bridesmaid

You have probably never, and will never, meet a person in your life that is sweeter than Katy. One of my closest friends since sophomore year of college, Katy is my go-to person I call whenever anything happens to me, good or bad. She helped me get through various psychology classes over the years with her kind and supportive heart. Although she lives hours away and we only see each other about once a year, we frequently catch each other up on our lives via phone calls. Not only that, but Katy has a way of making you feel like you are so important and loved when you talk to her. She is truly beautiful, inside and out, and I could not be more excited to have her a part of my wedding party!<3

Devin Anderson

Groomsman

Even though Devin is technically my mom’s younger half brother, he and Dane have always been the older brothers I never had but always wanted. As younger kids we did the typical brother things - Devin begrudgingly let me play a few different games of his when we were really little (after I kicked up a fuss with the adults) which was how I was introduced to Pokémon and RuneScape. I always thought Devin and Dane were the absolute coolest when I was younger. They were both funny, smart, and talented each in their own unique way, and I always enjoyed seeing them and strived to be like them. To be honest, not much has changed as we’ve gotten older. I still admire them both and try to emulate their great qualities; Devin is without a doubt one of the funniest people I know, and the way he puts his heart and sole into things and people he cares about is amazing. As we have grown, one of the things I am most grateful for now is how much closer we are now than we were when we were kids. I’m so grateful for the relationship we have now as adults, and Faith and I could not be more excited to have them both in our wedding!

Rachel LaFond

Bridesmaid

Ahhh Rachel - where do I begin?! Rachel and I have been friends for 10+ years now! I met her back when we were all still middle-school aged girls who loved going to the ice skating plaza (which she was, and still is, a beyond incredible figure skater!), were obsessed with Justin Bieber and wearing Hollister/Abercrombie all the time, and spent most of our free time at the Port Orange Pavilion! She was not only one of the smartest people I've ever known (and still is), but you could guarantee that if you hung out with Rachel you would be laughing and smiling so hard the entire time. Rachel's family welcomed me into their home so many years ago, and I am forever grateful for all the memories made and New Years Eve nights I spent there<3 Although she may not be in Florida anymore, Rachel and I have managed to stay in touch all these years! Not only did she graduate from NYU (AMAZING!) she now works in the film industry and has done a number of incredible projects already (cough cough* go see the new Batman movie and you just might see her name in the credits!). Everyone who knows me knows I love to brag about Rachel and her charm, beauty, talent, intelligence and more! I could not be more grateful to call her one of my closest friends, and I am even more excited to call her my bridesmaid!

Dane Anderson

Groomsman

So much that i said about Devin can also be said for his brother, Dane. Between the two, Dane is older and therefore fit the role of oldest brother well when it came to the two of them basically being my brothers. While Devin and I would argue every so often, as kids closer in age often do, Dane could be considered a little bit more on the patient side, given that he was a bit older. As adults, both Dane and Devin treat me as equals, and they continue to act as older brothers of mine. Dane’s hard work and calm demeanor is always something I have admired and tried to emulate. One of the coolest things about Dane in this past year though is I have gotten to watch him get married to his wife, Kacey! Even more special was he invited me to be one of the groomsmen in his bridal party alongside his best man, Devin. I was also invited to join them on Dane’s bachelor trip in May. I was hesitant at first to play 18 holes three days in a row. Dane and Devin had a lot of helpful tips though and I had a great time. Since then, I’ve been attempting to improve at golf and am looking forward to playing with them again sometime. It is honestly both an honor and a privilege to get to now have Dane and Devin as my groomsmen.

Danielle Greco

Bridesmaid

Although Danielle was technically Parker’s friend first, I am so lucky to call her one of my closest friends. Danielle and Parker have been friends since high school, and they are actually both a part of the friend group Parker and Matt Lannon were, and are, still in. Despite being this tight-knit group, when I entered Parker’s life in 2016 Danielle was incredibly kind and welcoming, as was everyone else. They basically added me into their group, and have always treated me like I belong. I have so many memories from these past 6 years of hanging out with Danielle and the rest of Squid (their group’s nickname), and all of them consist of me pretty much laughing and having the best time! Whether it’s watching the Super Bowl, walking around downtown Melbourne, or just grabbing dinner, Danielle is always so much fun to be around. The true moment of realizing how just how close of a friend to me Danielle is came when I had an opening spot for my bachelorette party and when I invited Danielle to come along, she not only happily accepted, she basically proved herself to be an amazing bridesmaid during that trip! She was kind and supportive and fun and hit it off with all the girls, it was perfect! I was so excited to ask Danielle to join the bridal party as a bridesmaid and I am so happy she accepted! Parker and I could not be happier to have Danielle officially a part of our wedding! :)

Matt Lannon

Groomsman

Matt and I have known each other years, pretty much since middle school; however, for whatever reason we didn’t become friends until around our senior year of high school. We had a few mutual friends from school and working at Publix and we all started hanging out together as a group. Since then we have made so many memories; from hanging out in Melbourne when I would come home to visit, to spending countless nights trying to climb our way up from silver to gold in some online team games we pretended that we enjoyed playing. One thing to know about Matt is he’s hilarious. He is definitely one of the funniest people I know and he never fails to have me in literal pain from laughing so hard and I think most people who know him would agree. Matt’s been a great friend that’s been there for me throughout some of the more difficult times in my life, and I am forever grateful for our friendship.
