Question
When should I RSVP by?
Answer
Please RSVP by Friday, July 17 to allow for accurate numbers for catering. Also, the first 10 guests to reserve by Wednesday, July 22 at the Courtyard Mariott in Banner Elk will get a guaranteed discounted rate per night. After that, rooms are subject to availability. More info is in the "travel" section.

Is there a dress code?
Answer
We’d love for all guests to dress “semi-formal” for the celebration. Ladies, please wear longer dresses, jumpsuits, or a blouse with slacks. The ceremony is outside and on grass, so please be mindful of your shoe choice. Gentlemen, slacks and button-up shirts are perfect. Jackets and ties are optional.

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will begin at 6pm. Please arrive no later than 5:30pm to allow time to park, enter the venue, and find a seat.

Does the venue have parking?

Yes! There is plenty of complimentary parking and an attendant to ensure everyone knows where to go afterwards.

Are kids welcome?

While we love your little ones, we have decided to keep our wedding an adults-only event with the exception of a few older family members. That being said, we kindly ask that you only bring those formally invited on your invitation. We hope you understand & enjoy the night off as we can't wait to celeberate with you!

Can I take pictures?
Answer
During the ceremony, we ask that all phones be put away so everyone can be fully present—and so our photographers can capture the moment. After dinner, feel free to pull those phones and cameras back out!

What will the reception look like?
Answer
After the ceremony, we’ll have a short cocktail hour with small bites and drinks. From there, we’ll move into dances and toasts, followed by a buffet-style dinner catered by Pedalin’ Pig. Instead of a traditional dance floor, we invite you to spend the rest of the evening staying inside for board/card games, dessert, and coffee, or head outside to relax by the fire or join in on some lawn games. We will exit around 10pm; guests are welcome to stay as late as 10:30pm.
