Bend/Redmond Airport

If you are flying, Bend/Redmond (RDM) is the way to go! RDM has flights from most major cities and is a 20 minute drive from Bend. Portland is about three hours drive away from Bend.

Bend has a lot of great places to stay—many outside of this list! Check out vacation rentals on Airbnb or Vrbo, or if you are looking for an affordable non-camping option, try one of the motels on 3rd Street in town. Fun walkable areas to stay include Newport Ave. and Galveston Ave. on the west side of the river (River West), downtown (Old Bend), Colorado Ave. on the east side of the river, Northwest Crossing (Summit West), and the Old Mill District.

Camping at Elk Lake

We were able to reserve a few campsites at the Elk Lake Resort and Marina, about a 15 minute walk from the Francis Family Cabin. Folks camping at these sites will need a car to bring up their gear and there is parking available at the sites. They will need to drive into town for the Welcome Happy Hour on Friday, but they'll be walking distance from Saturday's events! Please talk to Teal and Dave if you are interested in camping here.

Shuttle from Bend Athletic Club / LOGE Bend to the Elk Lake Cabin

June 25, 2022 3:00 pm - 11:00 pm

The cabin has no parking available so wedding guests will be taking a shuttle for the approximately 35 minute drive up to Elk Lake. Masks will be required on the shuttle. Guest pick up will occur at 2:30 pm from two locations: - Athletic Club of Bend parking lot (61615 Athletic Club Dr, Bend, OR 97702). Pick up will be from a gravel lot north east of the Athletic Club. The lot will have a sign that says “Teal & Dave Parking.” If you are staying somewhere else in town and have a car or rental car, please drive to the Athletic Club. - LOGE Bend (19221 SW Century Dr, Bend, OR 97702). You are welcome to take the bus from here if you are staying at LOGE. There is no parking at LOGE for guests not staying at the hotel. There will be buses taking guests back to LOGE and the Athletic Club at 8 pm, 9 pm, and 11 pm after the wedding. More details and specific information about transportation has been emailed to guests.
