FAQs

If you have any questions about the wedding, please reach out to us at mattandkylewedding@gmail.com.
Question

Do I need to purchase Disney park tickets to attend your wedding?

Answer

No. Since our wedding festivities will take place at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (which is not inside a Disney park), you will not need park admissions.

Question

What is the theme of your wedding?

Answer

Our theme is "A Grand Adventure," a nod to our love for travel with the grandeur of our venue.

Question

Who will be walking each groom down the aisle?

Answer

Unlike more traditional weddings, the wedding entrance will play out slightly differently. Each groom's mother will be walking their son down the aisle. Matt's mother and step-mother will both walk Matt down the aisle.

Question

I know in traditional weddings, the audience stands as the bride walks down the aisle. How does that work at your wedding?

Answer

As both Matt and Kyle will be walking down the aisle, we ask that guests rise for both of their entrances.

Question

What are the colors for your wedding?

Answer

Our wedding color palette is called "Coastal Romance" and includes: Poppy Red, Soft Ivory, Seafoam Mint, French Blue, and Navy Indigo.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

No one is going to kick you out for what you’re wearing. But if you’d like tips on what to wear, we recommend Semi-Formal (Cocktail Attire). Men: Suits or blazers with dress pants and dress shoes. Women: Cocktail dresses, midi dresses, or dressy jumpsuits. Feel free to incorporate colors from our wedding palette, although totally optional.

Question

Do I need to RSVP to attend?

Answer

Yes - anyone planning on attending must RSVP by the deadline, as our venue, transportation, and caterers need a head count and names for the events.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that guests attending the Pre-Wedding Celebration Brunch in Colorado RSVP no later than September 18, 2025. RSVPs for the wedding ceremony, reception, and farewell breakfast at Disney World need to be received by December 8, 2025. For all wedding festivities held at the Walt Disney World Resort, we require all guests to RSVP by December 8, 2025. Due to the nature of planning involved with Disney, we need an accurate count of attendees, including guest names. However, don't worry if something changes last minute; we know life happens.

Question

When’s the latest we can book our hotel reservation in the room block?

Answer

Ideally, we ask to have hotel reservations booked by the RSVP deadline (December 8, 2025), so we have an understanding of who will be staying on Disney property. However, the room block cut-off date is January 7, 2026.

Question

Can I book my hotel outside of your room block?

Answer

You're more than welcome to book accommodations anywhere that you're comfortable. If you choose to book a room at a Disney hotel outside of our room block (i.e. with credit card points, DVC points, etc.), we ask that you email us your reservations number, so that we can have it attached to our room block, for accounting purposes. Please email mattandkylewedding@gmail.com with any questions.

Question

Will there be a shuttle to and from the wedding-day festivities?

Answer

We will be providing a Disney shuttle for those staying at either Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort or Pop Century for the wedding day only. Pick-Up Times: Disney's Pop Century Resort: 4:00 PM Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort: 4:15 PM The shuttle will depart each resort from outside the main lobby. Please arrive at the pick-up location at least 5-10 minutes prior to departure. Look for our transportation coordinator who will be holding a sign that says Ramsay/Teague wedding. Return Times: Early Departure: 10:15 PM Final Departure: 11:15 PM Guests who wish to leave at any other time will be responsible for their return transportation.

Question

If I don't want to take my kids to the wedding, will there be babysitting services available at Disney?

Answer

Yes - if you would like to let the kids have their own night while you attend the wedding festivities, you can leverage Kid's Nite Out - a babysitting service recommended by Disney. You can learn more on their website www.kidsniteout.com.
