Flight
Flying into Shannon Airport is the easiest option for guests. Once you land, it's around a 20 minute drive to the Castle or Inn. There are direct flights from New York, Philadelphia, and Boston. Please check the Shannon Airport Website for more information about transportation services from the airport to your hotel. A taxi from the Shannon Airport to Dromoland Castle should cost about €20 - €30.
Flight
Dublin Airport is another major airport and there will likely be more options to fly direct there. Once you land, it's around a 2.5 hour drive to Dromoland Castle and Inn. There is a bus available from Dublin to Bunratty Village or to Ennis that is €20 and takes about 3.5 hours. There is a train available from Dublin to Ennis that is €57 (one way) and €82 (round trip) that takes about 3 hours. There are connections for both the bus and the train that you'll need to be sure to make.

Hotel
We have a room block at Dromoland Castle where our wedding will be held. Dromoland Castle is a 5 star hotel that has been welcoming guests since the 16th century! To book a room at the Castle please call 011 353 61 368 144 or email reservations@dromoland.ie & mention our names as the reference. If guests book online, they will not be attached to the wedding block and will not receive the wedding rate or room type category. We recommend booking by June 20, 2022. We will not be able to guarantee accommodations there after. Castle Rates: €490.00 & €530.00 per room per night in classic room/ deluxe room (subject to availability). A supplement of €120 per room per night applies for triple occupancy (available only in Deluxe/ subject to availability). The above rates are based on two persons sharing & include accommodation, full Irish breakfast, service charge & taxes. Cancellation and full refund of booking up until 21 days before arrival.

Inn at Dromoland: Rates are based on 2 adults sharing and includes a Full Irish Breakfast. €145.00 per room per night in a Superior Room. €165.00 per room per night in an Executive/Premier Room. Children - €15.00 per Child, under 12 when sharing Parents Rooms & €25.00 per Child, over 12 when sharing Parents Rooms. Cancellation and full refund of booking up until 28 days before arrival.
Shuttle

A shuttle will be provided for guests staying at the Inn to bring them to Dromoland Castle for the ceremony/reception. (A shuttle will also be available following the reception to bring guests back to the Inn).

Built in the 18th century, this stylish ivy-clad hotel is opposite the Cathedral of Saints Peter & Paul, and 8 minutes' walk from the Ennis train and bus stations. Old Ground Hotel is about a 20 minute drive from Dromoland Castle. We do not have a room block at this hotel nor will we be providing transportation to or from this location. The hotel should be able to call a cab for you (please give them advanced notice).
