FAQs

Question

Are the events going to be affected by the Coronavirus?

Answer

We're so excited to celebrate with each and every one of you! Our number one goal for the wedding is to keep everyone safe and comfortable during the celebration. We're looking forward to having both of Taylor's grandmothers in attendance, as well as several guests living with a higher risk level than the general population.  In the interest of full disclosure, both of us are fully vaccinated, as well as both sets of parents and the entire wedding party and their spouses. We strongly urge guests to be fully vaccinated by October 15. With that in mind, we ask the following of our guests: If you have not been vaccinated, you are welcome to join the festivities but we respectfully request that you get a COVID test in the days before the event. Additionally, we ask that all guests wear masks throughout the event aside from when eating or drinking.

Question

Where and by when can I RSVP?

Answer

Please let us know if you plan to attend the Wedding Ceremony/Reception and Sunday Brunch before September 18th, 2021 by selecting the "RSVP" tab above. Enter your name exactly as it is written on your invitation's envelope and you will be asked to RSVP to the Wedding Ceremony/Reception and then the Sunday Brunch. Make sure to request an email confirmation receipt after submitting your responses. Having trouble trying to RSVP on our website, or want to update a previous RSVP? Please email us at barstowkrotseng@gmail.com and we will be happy to record your responses. There is no need to RSVP to the Welcome Party so feel free to swing by Lucile's on the night of if you're up for it!

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Although we do love children (and are excited to someday have a family of our own), in order to foster a relaxing and celebratory evening we respectfully ask that you leave the little ones older than 12 months at home for our ceremony and reception. We understand that traveling to Omaha for our wedding is a long journey for some of you, and bringing along your children could be a must. Please let us know if you'd like more details about babysitting options during our wedding that will allow you to enjoy the evening and still have a wonderful trip to Omaha with your entire family.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our event a manageable size, we are asking that attendees not bring dates unless a guest was specified with their invitation.

Question

What will the weather be like in Omaha?

Answer

Good question! Although our wedding and reception will be indoors, it's good to be prepared. Mid-October in the Midwest is usually gorgeously crisp, but please be sure to check the forecast (https://www.ketv.com/weather#.

Question

I still have questions! How can I get in touch?

Answer

If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to Taylor or Stephen at barstowkrotseng@gmail.com.
