Things To Do & Eat

The Wedding Website of Taylor Reddan and Patrick Kind
If you get to Baltimore early or plan to stay longer, we recommend the following places to explore the area.

Diamondback Brewing Company

1215 East Fort Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21230

This brewery is one of our favorites and is right down the street from the hotel. They have great pizza, in addition to their beer, if you're hungry and can't wait for the flatbread pizzas at our reception. If breweries are your thing, there are tons of great spots in the city, including Checkerspot, Union, Peabody, and Nepenthe, that you should check out.

Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine

2400 East Fort Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21230

The grounds of Fort McHenry offer a beautiful autumn walk along the water. For the history buff, we recommend visiting the fort itself or at least the visitors center to explore the historic fort whose defense in the war of 1812 inspired Francis Scott Key to write the words to the Star Spangled Banner.

Mindpub Cafe

554 East Fort Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21230

Right around the corner from our house, we (including Brie) have become regulars at this cafe since buying our house in Spring 2022. They have excellent (and unique) bagel sandwiches, cold brew coffee, and bacon for the doggies.

Ekiben

801 East Fort Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21230

If you're into really good Asian fusion food, there isn't a better spot than Ekiben. They recently opened this nearby location and we're obsessed. The chef and co-owner has also been nominated for a prestigious James Beard Award.
