Flight
LaGuardia is the easiest for domestic flights and a quick cab ride to Brooklyn, but Newark or JFK are better served by public transportation. After the wedding, LaGuardia is by far the best bet, as it's only 15ish minutes from the Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden by cab.
Train
Amtrak goes into Penn Station at 34th Street and 7th Ave. You can get the A,C,E and 1,2,3 trains from inside the station, and the NQRW trains one block away at Herald Square and 6th Ave. From these trains you can access almost all of Manhattan and Brooklyn. For the wedding, the N and W trains go to Bohemian Hall (our beer garden) via the Astoria Blvd stop and a 0.2 mile walk. The trip from Bohemian Hall to Penn Station is approximately half an hour by subway or car; if you book a train for 1h 15m after you want to leave the wedding, you'll have ample time to deal with subway slowdowns or cab traffic, and finding your way to the platform with extra time.
Travel Note
If you decide to drive into the city, you may have great luck with street parking, but should be prepared to pay for a garage if you can't find anything. For the wedding itself, there's usually a good amount of street parking available near the Bohemian Hall and Beer Garden.
House Or Rental
There are a lot of Airbnbs available in NYC. We can't vouch for them, but would be happy to look over a listing before you book if you're considering one.

Hotel
If you're up for a mega-special luxury getaway, this hotel looks awesome, and the location can't be beat. We're determined to spend a night there sometime. Hasn't happened yet. Rooms start at around $1000/night. Worth taking a browse through the website just for fantasy!
Hotel
If you have Marriott rewards, this could be a good place to stay. Walkable area, rates start at $315/night for wedding weekend.
Hotel
Well-priced boutique hotel in a walkable area. Rates start at $260/night for wedding weekend.
Travel Note
We did not book a block of rooms anywhere because New York hotels don't tend to give great discounts for those and our guests have a wide range of preferences about what area and type of lodging they're looking for. The hotels we listed are just a few of the many options available. If you have any questions about a place you're thinking about staying, please ask us! As for reaching the Bohemian Hall on Sunday, it's pretty easy to get to the N train (which takes you to the Astoria Blvd stop, 0.2 miles from the beer garden) from anywhere in Brooklyn or Manhattan, or a 20-40 minute cab ride from most anywhere.
