Choosing a place to stay will depend on your travel plans and what you want to see!
Please note - Athens Riviera is ~20 mins from the airport and ~ 40 mins from Athens center. Air BnB/apartment rental options are very popular for both the city and the coastal area - highly recommend looking on booking.com site where you will find very cost efficient options for the area.
The wedding venue will be on the Athens Riviera (Vouliagmeni, Vari and Glyfada area) if you want to stay close by. Plenty of amazing restaurants, beaches, and shopping. If you want to see the incredible ruins and museums in Athens you can probably spend an entire day in the city taking in the sights (day trip) or you can spend the first day or two in Athens and then two days on the coast for the festivities before you head out to the islands!

Athens airport is located ~20-30 minutes from the wedding venue thereby making it the easiest location to fly into, either from direct flights or connecting cities.
