Things To Do
Bighorn Mountains
Take a drive through the beautiful Big Horn Mountains via US Highway 16 and checkout the gorgeous wilderness Taylor grew up exploring. During the summer Taylor, Ward and their dog/child Maui love to go camping at the many free campsites the Big Horn's have to offer. Make sure to checkout Tie Hack Reservoir or Crazy Woman Canyon. If you're up for a real adventure, follow the highway into the quaint town of Tensleep and enjoy a brew at the Tensleep Brewery! (approx. 1 hour from Buffalo.)
Lake De Smet
While the bride and groom prefer white sand beaches and Caribbean blue water, Lake De Smet is their favorite local spot to get their "beach" fix. If you're looking for some time near the water, check-out this little lake right outside of Buffalo.
City Park
Home to the largest free pool in the country, Buffalo's city park has a lot to offer. Cool off at the pool, grab a treat at the Snack Shack and take a walk around the creekside path to checkout the well kept parks in the area. Nearby is Clear Creek Trail - a gravel walking path that shows off Buffalo's beauty!
Creekside Clubhouse Family Fun Center
Looking for the best ice cream in the area? Look no further. The bride loved coming to this spot with her dad to play putt-putt and enjoy their favorite ice cream flavor - strawberry cheesecake!
Buffalo Theater
If you're a movie lover like Taylor and Ward, checkout the Buffalo Theater. It is reasonably priced and clean!
Buffalo Golf Club
Buffalo is home to one of the most beautiful 18-hole golf courses in the Midwest. When the bride was little, she spent many summer days on this course with her dad learning how to drive (and sometimes crash) a golf cart, as well as climbing trees. Now the groom enjoys a round of play whenever he gets the chance. Hole #4 is hands down their favorite - check it out to see why! A round of 18-holes only costs around $40.
Dash Inn
THE BEST FAST FOOD YOU WILL EVER EAT! They offer a little bit of everything, from cheeseburgers to spaghetti to tacos. The groom loves the Dash burger, while the bride is a sucker for their french fries.
The Breadboard
THE OTHER BEST FAST FOOD SPOT IN THE WORLD! If you're looking for something a little healthier for lunch or dinner, make sure you swing by The Breadboard. Taylor worked at this sweet little sub shop throughout most of high school and college. They offer a variety of subs, daily soups and wonderful salads. The bride's favorite is the veggie salad and the groom loves the stoker sandwich. Make sure you don't skip the italian dressing that comes on almost every sandwich - it is definitely the secret sauce to these delicious subs.
