So...the reception is at a bowling alley?

Answer

Yes! Don't worry, we will have all the traditional wedding reception offerings - DJ, dancing, food, drinks, cake, etc. But also, yes, bowling! We've spent a little over seven years together dreaming of this day and wanted our friends and family to join us for a true PARTY. This place was one of our favorite hangouts in the early days of our friendship and budding relationship. Bowl, play pool, enjoy some food and maybe a cocktail or two, dance, relax and have a good time. Don't worry about logistics; bowling shoes and socks will be provided if you wish to partake. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail, but keep in mind that bowling and dancing will be plentiful at the reception. Bowling shoes and socks will be provided, so don't worry about your footwear.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your kids, we really do! But we want our wedding to be your night off and our time to celebrate with YOU! Additionally, our venue has a strict limited capacity, so for these reasons, our ceremony and reception will be adults only. If you need help finding childcare in Dallas, reach out to Taylor.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes. If not, if not, due to our ceremony and reception locations’ strict capacity limits, we are unfortunately not able to accommodate additional guests.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels, ceremony, and reception locations?

Answer

No, but there is ample parking at Perkins Chapel and a break between the ceremony and reception at Bowlounge should you wish to park and walk or hitch a ride to the reception. From the Virgin Hotel, Bowlounge is about a 10 minute walk down Turtle Creek Blvd. There is also a parking lot should you choose to drive. Both locations are easily accessible via Uber, Lyft, and Alto, as well.
