This is where Trey took me on our first date. It's a very upscale American restaurant with the best-deviled eggs! It's a bit pricey and requires a dress code so If you're looking for a high-end romantic restaurant I highly recommend it (:
Maskadores Taco Shop
When I was pregnant with Isaiah I craved Mexican food 99% of the time. I was on a Chipotle diet for two weeks until Trey introduced me to Maskadores. Let's just say I switched up real quick lol. Their carne asada is amazing, the jalapeno cream cheese is fantastic along with their green sauce! The green sauce has a kick so If you can handle the heat, go for it! Also, they have multiple locations from Glendale to Mesa so you can enjoy it in several cities!
AZ Taco King Phoenix
In 2023, AZ Taco King earned national recognition from TikTok. With Trey and I being foodies, we just had to try it and I'm so glad we did! Their birria ramen is SO GOOD. I end up getting it every time we go lol. I recommend trying it out, you won't be disappointed. Also, they have two locations, one in Phoenix and the other one in Avondale!
Armandos Mexican Food
One day we went over to Trey's mom's for a WWE show and we were in the mood for some Mexican food, which is no surprise lol and she recommended Armandos. It's kind of similar to Filibertos but 100x better. They're pretty inexpensive and you get your money's worth! They have a few locations throughout the Phoenix area so If you want some quick but good Mexican food this is the place to go!
The Mexicano
A few months ago we planned to go on a double date with Trey's sister and her husband. They recommended we try this place because it's one of their favorites and has the best nachos ever. After eating there I couldn't agree more! It is one of the best Mexican restaurants in Phoenix! I'm also not much of a drinker but now and then I like to enjoy a drink and the few times we've gone I got the MI AMOR "MY LOVE" margarita. Hands down It's the best margarita.
