What are your wedding colors?

Answer

We were inspired by the colors in mother of pearl: Mauve and Matcha/Sage Green. See the above photo as a reference.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Dress code will be cocktail attire. This is less formal than black tie and suggests that men wear suits and ties and women should wear cocktail dresses or sophisticated separates. We invite our guests to wear grays, mauve, or matcha/sage green to coordinate with our wedding colors.

There will be a cookie table...what's that?!

Answer

A cookie table is a traditional wedding feature in parts of the American Midwest, particularly in the Pittsburgh and Youngstown, Ohio areas (from which the bride's mom side hails). It serves a wide variety of homemade cookies as a central dessert or a complement to the wedding cake. Originating with immigrant families and during the Great Depression when wedding cakes were too expensive, the cookie table continues as a communal labor of love, with friends and family baking for the couple.

Can I bring my kids or a plus one?

Answer

We’ve carefully curated our guest list and reached out to everyone individually to let them know who is invited, including plus-ones and additional family members. When you RSVP, you will see the names of the guests/family members listed on your invitation. We truly appreciate everyone’s understanding, as we’ve put a lot of thought into our decisions for this special day. Thank you for your support!
